Question about compound master

Hey I was wondering what the skill "Compound Master" was raising? Is it maturing compound (ex.+HP for a Equip) or normal compound (ex. Desert potion) And i was also wondering if its worth it go get.

Defenitly worth it. ;3 It raises the chances of getting higher stats with maturing compound.
