I was planning to get Sudden Attack but that new skill intrigues me. Should I get that or Sudden attack?

sudden is a pvp skill.

Well...not really..

people seem to block it a lot....

you can't block skills.

 

EDIT: unless you're a bunny with guard. I love you! 

 

sudden is a pvp skill because using it requires 1000 MP: 500 to hide, 500 to sudden. it's also very slow because of the cast time of both skills, and it only deals about as much damage as a mine anyways. it's not practical for pvm.

May not be sense related, but; explain then how people can block my Tempest Strike, par example. I've also seen people block my Piercing Wave for that matter. And I've been able to block gun skills? And thats without Guard.

My opinion is mine alone. Stop making assumptions.

I used a lvl 10 sudden attack on a lvl 134 bunny with no guard. Out of 10 times the skill hits 7.

The next time, I try five times. The skill miss once.

But the damage is pretty good...the onnly problem is that I have to chase her don. -_-;;

no idea. i've never had any of my skills blocked ever; they either miss, get guarded, or hit. i don't use sudden that often though and pvp isn't my main focus, so my experience is a little lacking in that department.
