I'm playing the 3rd version of the 4th generation right now! Pokemon Platinum! I just got it just now, and just started, but all the new features are getting me all psych up!

The 4th generation Pokemon games look interesting, but my Pokemon fatigue prevents me from getting these games D:

I used to love these pokemon games so much (I have Fire Red, Crystal, and Sapphire), but then I got really tired of pokemon after playing through 3 generations of Pokemon (I even played my Fire Red to death; I have 10+ lv. 100 pokemon and I never used a gameshark), probably because of the repetitive gameplay and storyline. That's why I decided to skip the 4th generation D:

I guess the repetitive story line if true. Another thing is that to play the 4th generation, you need to buy another console =/
