    Up to date Gunner guide

    this is my first guide and i only made this cuz there aren't many up to date lion guilds out there and im bored today.

    Stats for lions

    AP-it's completely useless for a gunner lion since it doesnt increase gun damage.

    AC-the main stats for lions, since AC increases gun damage. ( 1 AC = +20damage per normal shot.)

    DX-another useless stat for a lion, since it doesnt increase the speed of the reload meter.

    MP-not really useful, but u'll need some of it for skills like Gun Booster, which cost 300mp when it's mastered.

    MA-useless for lions since it only increases damage for magic type characters like sheeps and dragons

    MD-not really useful except for pvp/gvg since it only decreases magic damage from enemys, and not many monsters have skills like mana arrow

    WT-dont need any points in this, even if u need to carry lots of ammo, since it'll get high naturally because ur a lion (4 in sence)

    DA-dont really need this either since basic detection doesnt count of DA.

    LK-this is another important stats for gunners, since it increases accracy and critical rate of bullets.

    HP-useful for bosses/gvg/pvp only, since ur range and can hit-and-run

    DP-not really useful except for boss hunting/gvg/pvp

    HV-useless unless u pick fights with other lions in pvp. since LK would probally block most hits.

    here are the choices that are best for a gunner lion and what equips to get. (power/magic/sense/charm/) 

     2143 - this build is good for beginners, since u'll be able to survive a few critical hits, but you really should put all bonus points into AC since ur damage wont be so high with a 2 in power. also should compound AC in ur equips. hp isnt really needed with a 3 in charm.

    3142 - this is usually the best build for lions, good damage, ok-ish hp/dp but survival wont be so easy. compound some HP into equips like GMV and hats/guns compound AC. accessories should be compounded with hp/ac/lk

    4141 - great damage but horrible hp which means ur chance of surviving is low. not recommended for pvp/gvg. should compound some AC, and alot of HP/DP to increase ur chance of surviving against stronger monsters.

    1144 - this build does the least damage, but u can survive alot better with this build. recommended for gvg/pvp/boss hunts. should just compound AC into all ur equips since u wont really need hp/dp with a 4 in charm.

     these should be the skills u get in order, but you can make ur own decisions, this is just what i recommend.

    First Job

    Invincible Drilling (optional since all it does is let u drill without being interrupted)

    Gun Carrier (must have skill for gunners since u need it to use guns)

    Invincible Reload (another must have skill for gunners since it lets u load even while being attacked)

    Gun Booster (this is also a must have skill for lions since it increases ur AC by 20 when tis mastered, so it also increases gun skill dmg. get it to lvl 10 and master it after u master power shot)

    Quick Reload (u will need to get it or u'll regret not getting it, since it lets u load ur bullets while running/walking.)

    Basic Detection (optional but i recommend it so u can do drilling quest easily like the drilling quest for azteca. should get it to lvl 10 or master it since it can be really useful sometimes)

    after getting those skills u should save up ur TM points for skills like power shot and shooting spree for 2nd job

    2nd Job

    Power Shot - (must have skill for gunners who want to grind and kill monsters in 1 shot. should master it since if u've been saving up ur tm points just like i told u to)

    Shooting Spree - (really should get this since its one of the 2 AoE skills a gunner can have. should get it to lvl 10 or master it)

    Stone Strike - (u'll need to get this skill to lvl 10 to get armor destructor, then lucky 7 to increase LK which is accuracy for a gunner)

    Armor Destructor - (a needed skill to learn lucky 7)

    Lucky 7 (FINALLY this skill u've saved so much TM points for, should get it to lvl 10 or master if so u will have critical hits more, and ur shots will have a lower chance of missing ur target. also helps in mature compounding better stats for ur equips)

    Keen Sense (its optional but it increases ur gun's timed critical damage by ALOT.)

    Should save TM points for Double Shot from there.

    Double Shot - (a must have skill for gunners, since it shoots 2 bullets {almost like a double power shot} get it to lvl 10 or master it)

    Shield Breaker - (optional but recommended for pvp/gvg lions since it breaks defense buffs like sumo suit)

    Should probably save TM points for 3rd job skills like berserk 

    3rd Job

    Berserk - (should get it since its the only attack skill for 3rd job lions)

    Reavealing Eye - (not really useful except for pvping and gvging with foxes with the hide skill)

    Gun Overdrive - (kinda useful since it increases normal shot's damage. doesnt increase skill damage tho)

     

     Training Places from lvls 0-150

    1-10 should do and finish coral beaches quest which should get u up to lvl 11.

    11-20 from 11-15 try grinding off fanta slimes, or do the avalible quest like the MQ at coral dungeon/coral feild 4. from lvls 15-20 try doing driller marky's quest and don's quest in gate of desert beach. after doing don's quest go to paridise and do officer robert's quest. which should get u to around lvl 18 or 19. also u can do other quest at paridise.

    21-30 should finish up paridise's quest and finish the key quest/episode 0 which would get u up to lvl 28-30 if ur not lvl 30 by that time, go train in the beach feilds. u can try poppuri dungeon if ur strong enuf.

    31-40 u can do the multi-vitamin quest for elloy and start the poppuri dungeon quest. at lvl 35 u can do sppo card quest. after all those quest u should be at least lvl 40. and at lvl 40 u can do forest mantis card quest for a good amount of TM exp.

    41-50 should train in path to oops wharf with a 2.5 party since the monsters there arnt to hard, or do any event quest if there are any. at lvl 45, u can start episode 1, which can get u to around lvl 48(WARNING REQUIRES ALOT OF RUNNING AROUND). u should train the last two lvl at phantom school, since the monsters there are kinda easy cuz their gun weak. u can also do inky much card quest while at phantom school but ur probally ganna need helping getting the inky much card since inky muks are gun resist.

    51-60 2nd job!!! u should probally get help on getting a badge, since kaboom isnt really easy to beat with the narajos and chimus around. finishing up episode 1 might be a good way to gain exp, but its not easy. some more card quest are avalible. 

    61-70 might be a good idea to train at path to black swamps with a 2.5 party since u can do the snail monster quest in carbigal starting at lvl 60. or u can do quest at oops wharf/gate of oops wharf at lvl 70 u can do super golden mole and shadow card quest.

    71-80 u can continue with the grinding and MQ'ing at path to swamps..or try path to snow hill if ur strong enough. u can also do mermaid dungeon quest. u can do episode 2 and mirage island's quest which isnt so easy but its alot of exp. lvl 75/80 u can do card quest at mermaid dungeon.

    81-90 u can try doing PQ at mermaid dungeon, but training with a 2.5 party at path to snow hill is also a good idea. more card quest avalible to. starting from lvl 80 u can do alot of monster quest, especially TM at path to snow hill, carbigal monster guide, etc.

    91-100 u can try Tech1 since its a good training place, only if ur strong enough, if not then continue in path to snow hill. but from these lvls the best way to train is probally grinding with 2.5 party's

    101-110 more card quest avalible, and tm quest at mermaid dungeon. still recommend grinding for these levels, but should use a booster at snow feild 3 if ur in a rush to 3rd. also, u can do ghost blue quest.

    111-120 more new card quest to do, and a great monster quest at tapasco field 1...to bad lions will have a hard time with it...red salamanders take no gun damage. u can also start desert mine PQ at lvl 120. great exp. If tapasco field 1 is to hard, u can always try snow feild 3 with iciclers and yetis.

    121-130 try grinding until 130, then u can do more tm quest. but from here, there isnt much good quest to do, thats why grinding at tap1/tech 1 or 4 is recommend. at 130, u can start 3rd job, but only the 1st quest, to get ur TM lvl up a little.

    131-140 now u can do episode 3 quest and rose garden/vampire castle quest!!. if u dont want to do those quest, u can always continue grinding ur TM up so u can advance.

    141-150 not really much to do from these levels besides grinding and PQ at desert/caballa mine. guess u can do ice dungeon quest to.

     

    Recommended Guns for lvls 0-130 (Myshop Users, Ignore This)

    from 1-9 i recommened useing a sword

    10-19, u should use a sword, but guns are ok.

    20-29, try to get a ult. wooden gun, thats probally the best gun u can get

    30-39, u can wait till lvl 35 and use a indiana rifle u get from helping indiana john in poppuri dungeon, which has 98 gun AP i think.

    40-49, u can stay with the same gun, unless u can get a better one.

    50-59, try to get a ult antique gun, with 3slots and 5lk or more. compound ac into it with tree sap dropped from triches

    60-69, stick with the same gun unless u can get a better one.

    70-79, u should still stick with the same gun, unless u can get a  ult. metal gun, with 3s or more and has better base stats.

    80-89, try to get a good stainless gun or a sten gun

    90-99, guess u can ry to get a master titan gun

    100-109, a master millitary gun is recommended, but tis not easy to get.

    110-119, milli guns are the only non-myshop guns for lvls 110, but a master millitary gun is better.

    120-130, guess u can use the blue seal guns, but i say a master millitary gun is better.

    extra info-Timed Crits are criticals that you can make 100%, after your first shot. to do this u shoot, wait till the damage/miss goes away, then shoot again quickly right after the 1st shot damage dissapeared. i think u can repeat it. (gotten this info from another lion{ShadowX4 i think})

    i just started a lion and just got gun carrier and the reload time is getting anoying when do i get invincible reload


    You click the red button and_____v pic of me with Gm raven and Gm grimm out of costume!

    the reload time stays the same (i think? unless quick reload affects it.)

    it wont be so annoying when u get skills like double shot or quick reload which lets u run away from damage and load at the same time.

    I'll just put some corrections and extra information.

     

    As far as I know, LK only affects the accuracy of your gun, as you can bypass the critical rates with timed-crits.

    Keen Sense only affects Timed-Crits.

    Shield Breakers are not bad skills as others said they were. Master Shield Breaker and you can now kill the red salamanders.

    One more thing, the precise weapons you can exchange from mint after every Key Quests, are a tad bit better than the Ultimate series.

    And gun reload time varies from each gun as you progress. As I remember the Gun Type series has 1.75 ~ 2.00 seconds reload time and the guns you'll be able to use later on at higher levels like the Blue Seal and Pierce Gun, have 1.25 reload time and the MyShop guns have 1.00 second reload time.

    lol thx 4 the update, and i say ult. equips are better since they have more slots, precise guns only have 2 slots dont they? and guns dont really start off with AC besides myshop ones, you have to compound it with ac.

     lolz almost 400 views and so little replys :P

    another detail: when you talk about 4141 HP is sure important, but you should update like "suicidal build", I'm 4141, lv 214, got a huge AC, but the problem of getting 1 on charm is EVERYTHING!

    you get low HP (you can fix it with equips though) but your DP and HV is crap which means, more damage received and chance of getting damaged! So, suicidal build!

     

    and HP stats is not "for GVG/PVP" you can take more hits, clearly, but you can't hit others very well! since you'll lack LK and put into HP! Update that please

    LK blocks physical hits AND dodges magic hits(like mana arrow) so its kinda like a substitute for HV, and DP is useless if u've got no MD or HP to back it up. so LK=less chance of getting hit by magic and physical hits, and hp=longer survival against magic and physical damage.
