Would a Lion be great for me?

Hey, Thanks for reading! Well, I recently got my Cat to level 51, and hated it. :D Anyways, It's just because the fact I'm always a mage in every game I play...that it was...way too easy of a class. ==" Not only that, but I have like OCD with characters and I'm always looking for "the perfect build" (Which there isn't any, I know) so I delete and remake like no tomorrow. But Lions seem to interest me, so I'll do like I did my cat and make it my only character to play. This all leads to a question...Do you think a Gunner Lion would great for me? It's the one class I've pretty much underrated ever since I started Trickster, but now I see it more as a reflection of what I want in a character. Just one small question, would it be a good character to fight in GvG or Quest with later on; with or without groups? All I need to know is the fact that it can be sorta flexible...and maybe throw a few stats in or guide suggestions too. xD I'll quit talking then, but thanks for reading! -Any answers would be greatly apprecicated!-

Gunner Lions are a pain to level in the beginning. And as a gun user, you cannot equip a shield, which will almost always make you a bit behind in HP than senses/powers/some magics.

If you're planning on starting a gunner Lion, then be prepared to suffer a lot until you hit 2nd job. XD

I'm exactly like you, and I was always happy with my Lion. However, I had friend with a VERY high luck compounder, and he could compound me really good equips. I also bought as much MyShop points as I needed to keep up with all the best guns. But, I'm sure you can do fine without all the luxuries.

I suggest a 4/1/4/1 build with HP compounded equips.

Edit: Ignore the above people -.- it really is NOT hard to level if you stay in Royals.

Oh, I've played a Lion before, and it wasn't easy. Remember, you can't get a royal party until you're at least level 31. Those levels are a pain to go through.

Re: Would a Lion be great for me?

Well, I quickly made friends and leveled with them. I suppose that's harder now since there's hardly anyone that even speaks english.

I imagine it being much easier now because there is a level 5 gun. You used to have to use a sword (or drill) until 15..

Btw, my main is a lion D:

Lions are a great class but you have to be prepared since leveling until 2nd job is rly hard for them.

but later on high levels you level very fast and do a lot of damage belive me, oh and another thing, DONT GO 4141 if u are a beginer plx belive me you be dieing alot and all the time (even being experiented).

Re: Would a Lion be great for me?

The 4141 is 40% Power, 10% Magic, 40% Sense, and 10% Charm. This build is referred to as the Glass Cannon/ Kamikaze build because your damage output will be very impressive, but you will not be able to take hits due to low HP. You will die very often if you are not careful, which is why people do not recommend this build for beginners. If you do go with this build, people suggest pumping all points into AC. AC will boost your gun damage. If you have accuracy problems, you should wear LK equipment. People also suggest wearing HP equipment so you can survive more hits.

Personally, I went with the pure LK apporach. I dumped all my points into LK. The damage output isn't as great as the AC build, but with the LK build, you never have to worry about missing your foe, no matter what level they are. You also get to block a lot more than than the AC build. Which means you can survive longer than other lions. Another plus to this build is that your compounding will be better than the pure AC lions.
