    Item limit PSA

    Hiya Tricksters,

Some of you may have seen the message:

“Either the holding limit is exceeded or the item is alreadymounted.”

As it stands, the message isn’t very descriptive or helpful soI’m here to offer some clarification.

When you see that message it means that you have a total of 300unique items on your character.

The formula that describes a “full” inventory is as follows:

Card inventory + Equipped inventory + Item inventory = Totalinventory.

If this number is equal to or greater then 300, then you will beunable to pick up items even if they stack with items you already have.

This is not a bug. Unfortunately, any player that experiencesthis message will have to make room in their inventory if they wish to expandupon what they currently have.

We are currently working to resolve the issue with items thatcan not be removed from the inventory as well.

If you have less than 300 items and you encounter this issueplease let us know.

    Thank you,

    Raven

cant they make the limit bigger ?

it'd help a lot, having 300 items and nowhere to put them is very annoying :X

i think 300 items is more than enough considering all of the warehouse/bank space that we have

    Please esplain...

With a full inventory I have been unable to:

    a) Pick up cards adding to a stack.

    b) Pick up cards creating a new stack.

    c) Have a card traded to me adding to a stack

    d) Have a card traded to create a new stack.

    Re: Item limit PSA

    A) pick up cards adding to a stack

if you already have a card of the same type and pick up some more, it only count as 1/300 items
[i've tried this with empty cards. you can have as many as you want as long as it doesnt exceed weight limit]

    Re: Item limit PSA

So... it isn't a bug but a feature? That figures.

There goes my dream of becoming a card collector. :/

At least that gives me an incentive to clear my stuff once in every while.

    Re: Item limit PSA

Since this issue seems to be affecting older characters, who doesn't even have the amount of items (300, spite being stacks or not), I stil theorise the issue is regarding a database size limit. Any confirmation that this is not the actual case? Since the issue struck my sister recently and she has not been as active in the game as say, Damsel, but she has been an old player doing event quests. With every new content release it seemed people claimed it got worse. This seems to be rather suspicious to me. My bunny who has ignored the event quests, have yet to be struck by this issue, spite gone farther in actual game content than say, Damsel's fox under influence of the bug. On this character I also have an immense collection of random items on me, and a card collection too.

My theory was that each quest adds a line to the characters database string(and monster quests adds even more such since they add monsters killed, and the record time). With all event quests stacking up, particulary for the very active, along with new content releases and them being packrats, thou spite being the same packrat always, the new quests made their characters more and more limited than before. Not that I can recreate this issue(since its not like Damsel could be under influence of the 300 issue, then delete a quest and see if she suddenly can pick up more or not), but Im sure the developers or database responsible people should be able to tell wether or not the case -is- as I speculate.

Not sure what I've been saying made sense, but nevertheless. I could post a very in-depth discussion about the thing I mentioned above and how it affects characters, if wanted, during other occurances elsewhere.

My opinion is mine alone. Stop making assumptions.

    Re: Item limit PSA

If you come across anything please post it, I have as of yet seen this to work in any way other than intended.

I will continue to keep an eye out as I continue to check things.  I will also look into information provided.

    Thanks,

    Raven
