im 5 TM levels away from TM 135. My question is... Is Sumo Suit a good skill for me to get?

i dont think ive seen this skill used b4 either... would it turn my beloved kitty cat in to a huge fatty? o.o

You've probably seen it used but didn't recognize it.

It blends with Mana Reflector's effect.

The skill sucks IMO. It's based on HV. Apparently more than Mana Reflector.

It also has a short duration. Get it if you have nothing else you're saving up for.

Skill Power=7+ HV / 7

Resist =1 - Skill Power / 100

So say you had 63 HV. The power would be 7+ 63/7 = 18.
Your resistance would be 1 - .18 = 82%

In other words, you would take 82% of whatever damage a monster normally deals to you.

so I have 230 HV that means i 7 + 230/7 = 33.85?

1 - .3385 = 66.15%

that sounds pretty useful to me o.O

is that for mastered or Lv 1 or what?

i not sure what he saying but when i seen sumo suit used it really helps...I hate it cause it blocks a ton of damage. I don't see why you wouldn't get it

If you're an HV cat, it's a very good skill.

If you're an AP or DP cat, it's a less useful skill.

A pure AP cat with 65 HV equips at level 200 would only have 77% resistance,

which is not very noticable. Mana Reflector  yields better results.

I haven't tested if MR+SS can go over 50% or not, since I'm not pure HV.

so 0.5 (50%) = 1 - [ (7 + HV/7 ) / 100 ]

HV = 301

so 301 HV is needed to obtain that. im a 4114 HV raccoon, so obtaining 301 HV isnt hard.

that makes this skill a must-get especially if you're a MyShop/Gacha user

and if im not wrong, this skill resists physical AND magic attacks.

-HV from 4 in charm, points into HV = gun defense

-DP from Sturdy Shield, Shield All, Team Bolster, 4 in Charm = physical defense

-MD though not a lot, Mana Reflector = magic defense

i hope this is more than enough reason for Dukes to get Sumo Suit.

the only put off may be its MP consumption, which is 540 MP when mastered and lasting only for 86s :shock:

Yeah and you're still easy pickins for a Priest.

It ain't that great of a ksill against some characters, but against a bunny it could ave your life.

DP and MD make very little difference with Sumo Suit. Too much of them makes Sumo obsolete.
