I have seen many people either without an Avatar or a Signature so I hope this would help them and thus allow them to have Signatures or at least an Avatar.
This will be ALMOST fool-proof. Just follow the instructions and you'r good to go!
This step is the most basic step. When I say click on your name, I actually mean't clicking on the name at the top right corner of the page.
For me, its konjiki. For you, it's your name.
First, log into your account. Then click on your name. This is the most basic step you should take, now remember it because you'll need it.
Lets Begin!
Setting up an Avatar for Trickster Online:
- Log in and click on your name.
- Click on Avatars
- Reformat/ Squeeze your picture with Microsoft Paint to the size of 80 x 80 pixles
- IMPORTANT: Use Save as and not Save. This will prevent the edited picture from saving over your original copy.
- Go back to web page and click Browse
- Go search for where ever you saved your picture
- Select it and click OK.
- Click Update
- When the page loads finish, click Save Changes and you are ready!
[All avatars should not exceed the size of 100 x 100 pixles. Avatars with sizes above 100 x 100 pixles will be removed. 80 x 80 pixles is recomended.]
Once you have gotten your Avatar up, you would be wondering how people place pictures into thier Signatures! This is how you do it.
Setting up a Signature for Trickster Online:
- Make your Signature with either MSPaint or Adobe Photoshop. A trial of Adobe Photoshop CS 2 can be found at the site below.
- Then save your Signature
- Next, load your Signature upon a picture hosting site. Recomended would be http://www.photobucket.com/ or http://www.imageshack.us/
- Take the image code (Which is the one with [lMG] and [/IMG])
- Paste your code into your signature.
- Type stuff or just save it as picture format.
- Double check if your image code is correct. Lets say i hosted i picture using wwvv.dotatdot.com, my image code would be
[lMG]www.dotatdot.com+imagename[/IMG]
- Click save changes and you are good to go!
[Signatures should be smaller than 300 x 600 pixles. Any larger may face removal by adminstrators. Recomended size would be 150 x 300 pixles]
Of course sometimes you would rather post pictures instead of placing unsafe links. This is how you can do it!
Posting Pictures on a post:
- First, host your picture up on Photo Bucket or Image Shack. Links would be reprovided below.
- Next, get the image code (Remember that it should be in [lMG]Sitename.com+imagename[/lMG])
- Then paste the image code on the post.
- Finsh what you are typing and click OK and you are done with this tutioral!
