That is normal, I just suggest you do some Love Hunter Robin monster quests to boost your TM level.
And no, mana usage has nothing to do with gaining TM levels.
As you level, your TM level will get farther and farther away from your Base level. My TM level is 20 levels below base, go figure =/

Early-game, it matters more about TM levels, because it dictates how much faster you're going to level compared to someone around your level.
When you reach higher levels, then TM will surpass your base.
And also level difference is calculated in a lot of accuracy/success formulas.

Hm, you said its useful compounding your weapon with attribute to deal more damage with normal attack + some skills so im trying to make a good sword for my dx buff.
Its just, i dunno exactly what to do now - everyone seems to be adicted to the golden lion stuff and sure it would be good, but i was planning on getting the rockin spec set as soon as im lvl 90 and the mars spec set later when gathered enough galder.
So i was wondering what would be better - compounding 4 soil stones into that golden sword or compounding only 3 attr stones into the swords of the respective sets since they got more ap anyways?
Oh, and does that golden lion shield also increase damage when compounding darkness attribute into it Oo? Ive seen one and that was totally freaking me out and ive read on wiki that those are only the shields before patch 2.15.1 where u can compound dark attr instead of dark resist...
Would be very nice if someone could explain all that and tell me what i should do best cuz that stuff is really confusing me x_x

lol i dont worry too much on getting scammed, if u arent too naive it works kinda fine... and ive already done that a few times.

Personally, I wouldn't bother with Rockin' Sword and use Golden Sword instead.
If you can get your hand to it, Mars Sword is definitely better than Golden Sword.
I've said that elements stack, so, yes the shield increase damage.
In fact the shield is one of the best shield for attribute compound.

If DX caps effectively at -45, and it's 1 point per 12 levels in DX...since 800 is the stat level cap...55*12+1 = 601, so you can put the last 199 into AP to make up the gap. You'll still have -45 DX at LV400, it's just that you'll have much more powerful attacks. 2400 points - 1596 naturally...804...so you can actually do a 2 AP/2 DX build and STILL come out with -45 DX by LV400. On top of that, you've closed the AP gap to...what, 800 points? 500? You're attacking wicked fast...add Berserker into the mix and watch the carnage as you score 10 boosted hits per strike ^_^
This also means that if you just HAD to force your way to -45 DX ASAP, by stats alone you'd get there by...55*6...330? Don't forget the top-rank DX stones give -3 to -7, and if you compound 3 of them...you could be looking at -21 right there. If you can somehow do that to another piece of gear, pardon me, but SCREW THE DX BUILD. You'd be getting -45 DX without bonus points just by natural gains (which would be -17 at LV400) and gear (-3 to -7 per slot with the best DX stones).
