I need help urgently!
I've been TRYING to play trickster for the last... 3 days. And the stupid gameguard just WONT LET ME!
For the last 3 days, I''ve been reading technical support topics here at this forum and doing what they say. NOTHING WORKS! Its so frustrating!!
My pc is formated, I dont have ANYTHING open, my firewall has a exception for trickster, my files have been updated milions of times, I already re-installed it twice, I deleted my antivirus, I had every program from Uniblue scanning my PC for errors and updates and my PC is running at 110% efficiency (I closed them all before I opened the splash), but I STILL CANT PLAY.
I was trying not to bug anyone by asking for help and trying to solve this myself, but... NOTHING WORKS!! T---T HELP please!
PS: Im using windows 7, ive tried opening it with troubleshooting and tried opening it normally, nothing works ><
you seem to be good at fixing trickster so im gonna ask you a question ish.
my trickster never has worked properly but i could usualy get on untill one day it just never would finish signing in
when i sign in the log in screne that shows characters just stays there for about four mins (the average time it takes trickster to load)
and then my real mouse appears on the screne. you know the one that shouldnt be there. i was wondering if you could help me
ive redownloaded it about 20 times and i defragment and disk clean my computer every time trickster updates cause i have to.
is there anything i can do?
just so you guys know, this isnt a "post every question in the world" topic.. in fact the guy who made this topic (atrophy) hasnt been on the forums in about 2 YEARS.
anyway,
-there is no known way of playing trickster on windows 7 yet. At all. by anyone. Sorry.
-Deathkitty - make sure you shut everything off, like extra programs, firewalls, etc. then try.. also if youre on a laptop make sure its not too hot, in case of overheating issues.

Ahh!! I did what you said for the Gameguard error Gamehack detected (number 10) and it still isnt working!!
Do several virus/spyware scans.
Cuz virus/spyware acts in the same way "hacks" do.
i got a problem of the shut down-restart problem as well. i didn't see any solution.. did i miss something? my pc is intel dual core 2gb ram and geforce graphic card.. im kinda stuck as to why it restarts everytime i press gamestart.. any help?

From the Launcher, click 'File Check'.This will check your Trickster folder to see if it has the necessary patch files to match the server.-If you could play the game previously, and there was just a recent patch, refer to section 12. "If you cannot connect to the game after a recent patch."
