Atrophy:DOUBLE EDIT: After some thorough searching, there has also been a suggestion to change the name of splash.exe to Trickster.exe temporarily. You can try this, I did that and it didn't cause any irreversible damage, I could run the game, and then I change it back to splash. Let me know if that helps.

seeing as how this fourm is the running thing with all fixes his final post on http://www.tricksteronline.com/forum/forums/thread/33452.aspx was correct except for hot to get there is start<control panel<System<Advanced tab< under preformance click settings<then data Execution protection tab< last but not least choose use only for main system processes ^^ this error should only occure if you did not let your system restart RIGHT after you upgraded to xp service pack 2
Side note i did not find this out i simpley took his idea and found a path credit for that one goes to thebes ^^

Working Offline, Staying Offline is an issue with your computer not being connected to the internet, I think. Please give me a screenshot.
