Well earlier this week as I was booting up my computer, my other antivirus program, Threatfire, popped up saying gamemon.des (that little problem file) was actually a virus. O_o As I was trying to do research, apparently other antivirus programs are starting to catch on.
... Should I continue to just disable and renable my protection until my game loads up completely? I'm kinda worried here. =/;

well, gameguard is essentially a rootkit, which is a rather pesky kind of malware. really, you don't have another option unless/untill ntreev wises up and finds something less virulent in it's behaviour as an anti-cheat mechanism.
And we all know Ntreev. =/; Great, I'm out of luck then.

Shouldn't be too worried about disabling AVs. I know many are, but in reality, its not that much to worry about, unless you visit the wrong kind of sites and have that on your couciousness(sp).
