Kale said he wasn't even sure if he was doing it right the whole time, just putting in cards randomly. There might be methods that are more effective, or cards that are for all we know so that it won't take players so many cards.
I think I also remember him saying that Card Girl starts selling monster cards to help players do that part of the Quest. I mean, 400 cards is worse than digging for a Bloody Rune, and worse than digging up 100 Trash.

Supposedly they're just normal monster cards, nothing rare.
Nobody is going to want to kill for days trying to get enough cards just for Guardians. There's a difference between a challenge and just plain boring and uninteresting.

And that's the first time that I heard that card girl was going to start selling monster cards.What I'm thinking is they're going to be random packs with a chance for rare monster cards just like the skill card packs.
