Im making a Lion and I need Help With its SKill Build
Thanks xP
Personally I'd recommend something like:
That's the starting stuff I guess, or at least how I did it personally anyway. If you're looking for a Shuriken Lion Build then I have no clue...

Since gunner lions are based on AC......
4114 is recommanded for a stronger AC lion....
Pros: higher AC
Cons: low HP and defense
1144 is more highly recommended for beginners
Pros: higher defense, hp
Cons: low AC
OR
A pure DA lion is fine too....if you don't want to play a fox
4114 is okay
Pros: high AP
Cons: low defense
1144
Pros: high defense
Cons: lower AP
go 2143...which is the basic recommend skill build

1144 usually has higher AC than 4141 simply because 1144 have the luxury of pure AC compounds in all equipment while 4141 will be forced to put HV and HP compounds in equipment to be able to survive higher leveled places. High-level places meaning Abyss, Chaos Tower, or Spicy Dragon, and NOT Tapasco field 1 if that's what you're thinking. Also, 4141 is forced to go pure LK. If a 4141 lion goes on pure AC, you're going to have to skip the pure AC comps in order to survive. 4141 pure AC / with pure AC comps = death and frustration waiting for you. Hit and run? range? it won't work. See you in chaos tower! >:D
Also, the advantage of 1144, is that automatic stat points go into HV/HP/DP - all three are useful. If you go 4141, You get DX and AP along with AC. Only 1 stat is useful, DX and AP are useless.
Here's an easier way to decide: 4141 compensating HP/HV or 1144 compensating AC? Compensate 1 stat through comps or 2/3 stats through comps? You decide. >:D
And... here's a trivia: The lion with the highest AC record in fantisia: 1210~ AC is a 1144 Lion. (not referring to myself) You don't need to be 4141 to have I love you! AC.

A quick note: which build of lions are the best for bossing?
in progess (:

1144 (4 charm, 4 sense)
Should i get Lucky Seven? And Sixth Sense?
Do -not- get Sixth Sense if you want to be a Gunner. It will be of no use to you. If you go Pure for 3rd Job it -will- be needed to learn Revealing Eye, but Revealing Eye is also virtually useless because all it does is disable the Hide skill of a Fox.
Although you -should- get Lucky Seven because the added LK will help you a great deal, trust me.
Good for compounding too (:
I'm no expert myself, but I'm working on a gunner lion at the moment. Most of the posts above give good info, and some obvious points on being a gunner ^_^ Gunblaze is pretty much the authority on gunners as far as that goes...but here's my input.
Stone Shower: Basic beginner skill for sense types. No TM cost, attacks at a slight range with 75 AP for 20 MP. 2 second cooldown, low-average "cast time". It's a beginner skill, so it couldn't hurt, and since you'll be a gunner it will tend to outdamage Stone Strike for about 10-15 levels, by which you'd have a gun.
Invincible Drill: No. Just no. Gunners get the lowest survivability in the game regardless of build due to the inability to use a shield, which is a MAJOR HP comp. If you get attacked while drilling, you usually want to get the hell out of there.
Gun Carrier: Duh? Kinda needed to use a gun in the first place, pick it up either at TM5 (to use a gun ASAP) or at TM20 (so you can get Invincible Reload to make gunning easier)...though I honestly say TM5, since it's not that hard to still get every shot in without Inv. Reload.
Sixth Sense: You're not a fox. Don't even think about it -_-
Stone Strike: Get this to Lv10. You probably won't be using this due to general inferiority to guns, but it's a requirement for the eventual Shield Breaker, the ultimate bossing skill of the Lion.
Heavy Carrier: Could be useful later, don't waste points early on. Bullets don't weigh or cost much, and until TM30 at the very least you won't use many if any pots with a gun--just sleep off the damage.
Shuriken Master: No, you're not a fox.
Sticky Foot: Eventually, since it's a prereq to Sticky Icky, one of the best debuffs in the game due to how many stats it effects at once (effectively screwing over any fox or raccoon). Sticky Foot on its own is pretty bad as a gunner due to DA base.
Gun Booster: HELL YES. +400 damage per shot is extremely helpful, and now you have a use for your MP ^_^
Basic Detection: If you plan to drill a lot, this can help up to about 110m. If you don't plan to drill, don't bother...it's mainly for foxes.
Armor Destructor: This needs L10 Stone Strike as a prereq and is pretty useless on its own, but once again, it too is a prereq to Shield Breaker (via Lucky Seven) and Icky Sticky IIRC.
Quick Reload: Finally, we lions become a kiting class ^_^ Get it ASAP.
Lucky Seven: LK influences our hit rate, so having extra LK wouldn't hurt. It's also a prereq for Shield Breaker (THE prereq, 'scuse me).
Anger Management/Compound Mastery: No to both. You're not a fox, so the drilling skills aren't helpful as much, and Compound Mastery is appearantly bugged.
Second job:
Butt Plate: Melee range = fail. No.
Power Shot: FINALLY, an attack skill ^_^ 2.7x damage mod is helpful, not too MP expensive...get it and master ASAP.
Shooting Spree: It's one of those high-risk, high-return things. Five randomly aimed shots invites mobs to trample your shieldless...yeah...unless they all die. Five shots on one target (bosses) would be amusing, to say the least, but I don't know if it works that way.
Lucky Fist: This would be a great skill if it weren't for the crappy windup, the long cooldown, and the fact that it only damages the current HP bar, making it a horrible bossing skill. I was corrected recently on this skill -_-
Keen Sense: If you know how to time crits, double power per shot for a little over two minutes isn't bad at all. If you don't, either learn how or bypass this skill.
Lock-On: LOL. HV debuff based on AC = Pain in many ways.
Double Shot: Two shots with a little less power and hit rate than Power Shot. It's also twice as MP expensive. Pick it up for better gun comboing.
Shield Breaker: The Lion's bossing skill, this gives you 17 seconds at Master level to trample over the boss's lower-resistance flesh due to the 80% cut to resistances. Tenter Lion supposedly has 80% resist in his red bar. Shield Breaker means he's taking normal again. This is THE bossing skill if you're aiming to positively CRUSH a boss (I.E. one could crush Karan in three shots if they were doing 3000 before Shield Breaker), so GET IT AND MASTER IT if you plan to kill a lot of bosses. As an added bonus, it allows you to ignore all shields and the ever-annoying Sumo Suit (Fatty Tank?).
Leg Training: Honestly, not that great. Deadly Fen is supposedly bugged (even if it's not, it's not a big slowing effect), so it's just Dark Distractor.
Supposedly Cyber Hunter > Scientist, but it's really up to you.
Scientist skills:
Revealing Eye: Only really useful for combating your counterpart and preventing the use of Poison Assault. Junk otherwise.
Berserk/Violence Spree: Same name, it's effectively Shooting Spree all over again.
Gun Overdrive: Useful on a gun with good base AP (high level guns, Pearl Pistol), this multiplies the Gun AP by 3.64 at Master. A decent boost, but not overkill.
Sharp Sense: If you're going Scientist, it's probably for this. +26% to all timed crits for two minutes at Master. Add on Keen Sense for some pretty powerful normal shots.
Cyber Hunter:
Precise Pitch: No no no no no.
Item Detector: Not a DA Fox, but could be useful if you have decent DA gear and like drilling...
Aura of Luck: THIS is why you go Cyber. More luck = higher hit rate, full party skill.
Chain/Fan of Knives: Not a thrower, don't bother.
Gas Mask: PvP only, generally. Skunk resist.
Landmine: Fun to use, being based on DA and LK allows for okay hit-and-run damage from your sense growth.
Sticky Icky: The OTHER reason to go Cyber. Full defensive debuff based of your probably good LK rating, it cripples enemies pretty well, reducing DP, HV, and LK.
Lightningrod: Volt resist to the party. Could work decently on Lightning casters, relatively useless otherwise.
Pouch of Pain: Amusing to say the least. More damage from more items, but the difficulty of getting WT gear limits its usefulness.
I'm personally a 2143. 1144s are probably the most powerful factoring in equip needs. There's my two galder on the matter, ask Gunblaze for a pro's opinion.
