So I've been deciding on making an evolution AP cat for quite awhile now, and I've got a great idea about equipment. I'm going to compound as many dark stones into my equipment as possible so I can do massive damage. I haven't started the compounding yet, but here's the list of equips I plan on using.
Dark Golden Lion shield - I'm lucky enough that I got one of these before they were discontinued. This is the main reason why I'm choosing dark attr over other elements.
Dark ring - Level 90 of these just came out. When a higher level comes out, I'll probably switch to that.
Poppuri dark blade - Easily obtainable weapon with dark attr. Not many weapons have darkness.
Chainsword - Level 150, availabe from the Nyxx set during October. This will replace my Poppuri dark blade.
Cape and innerwear will be compounded with HP.
Any suggestions to improve this build or other equipments would be great.

There's the "Blood Sword" which compounds with Dark Att. Though it's very pricy thanks to the drop rates. D: If you still want to go for that, save ALOT of galders! X_X
If you gone Gachaed at the Fallen Jen and Redeemed Azhi town a long time ago, they have the "Grand Star Imacpt", which it's a Lvl. 160 hammer (has AP, HP and HV... Idealy for Charmers) that compounds with Dark Att. (I currently have it right now...) But since this Gacha is gone, so does the release of the original equips except for the players who have the equip.
That is all I know.. ^^;

but im a little confused on the "Dark Golden Lion Shield."
trickster wasnt in my life when that was around, so could you briefly explain the stats on that shield.

Before the Golden Lion Shield was fixed, it used to have Darkness Attribute compounding instead of Darkness Protection. There's a limited amount and probably pretty rare now.
O.o" um...can't they still add Dark Att.? cause befor i sold mine it had darkness attribute.

What a very interesting glitch. o-o (Played when the Tut trials and Uniques are made...) No wonder those cost like a fortune for those who need a additional Dark att. :O
Well anyway, again I can't think of any equips that are Dark att. All we can do is keep an eye on the next MyShop/Gacha if you are planning on that. ^^;
I really hope they add a darkness attr G4 set. No idea why the nocturnal set is fire when there's already a fire set.
Just asking out of curiosity, have you considered the other attroibutes at all?
since this whole Darkness Attr thing seems to be dependant on the Golden Lion Shield before it was "fixed."
Say you can't get one, what would your other choice for attributes be?
Anyhow a very interesting idea. Mostly what I see or hear of Evo kitties are just all AP compounds when possible. Or HV/HP if AP isn't avialable, of course.

You could pretty much choose any attribute and it would still work. The golden lion shield is the only reason why I'm picking dark. If not, I might choose water or electric or light. It depends on the monsters you're going to be fighting. I won't be able to completely rely on dark since there are monsters strong against it. I have a golden lion sword with 133% soil compounded into it.
Dark Lord or Witch would also benefit greatly darkness compounded equipment.
I'm familiar with the guides to attributes and such. I was just asking if the GLS was the main reason to go Dark or was it pure preferance. xD
BTW, don't the attributes stack? Lets say you use the Sword with 113% Soil and used a fire ring from myshop, would you have a Fire/Soil attack? o.o
