So I am lv 94 and I have been using just suriken master with DA power ups this whole time and was pretty happy with it, but I have been looking forward to chain of knifes for a while and finally got it....it isn't mastered just lv 9 and PP is lv 5 but i have to say so far...i am quite dissapointed it is only 1k more dmg (went from 7k dmg to 8k dmg in tap) so is PP and chain of knifes even worth mastering? Seems like a throwing item hog to me but idk yet. Also another skill I have been looking forward to that I don't have yet is fan of knifes....hope it isnt as bad, it's AoE at least but which of these is your fav skill and which do you use the most?
im lvl 172 (HV 90+,Lk 90+ so monsters mostly miss me) and im using only Stone Strike (because i dont want to waste money on shurikens and my DA is not high enough to OHK with SM) or SM + SS combo
landmine was useful for tribunals, but thats all with its 10s cooldown ...
precise pitch is not even passive anymore and seems to be much weaker
my chain of knives is lvl 6 and im not impressed at all
i have masterd Fan of knives, but its quite bad skill too: high MP cost and it hits targets only in 1 quadrant
often, as they run toward you, they exit that quadrant and you end with hitting 1 or 2 monsters ... (or maybe im lame :)
most of the time there are not peacefull monsters so close each other like it was in Halloween area :)
(Many thanks to Ntreev for master authorities from episode event :)
so if i should choose only 1 attack skill, it would be Stone Strike
Siggy made by Blushi.
From my experience, Chain of Knives mastered gives pretty good boost of damage (for me dmg is more or less the same as Stone Strike one, but I don't have to get close to monster, which is good). But it eats a LOT of shurikens and MP so its semi-useful for training >.<
U will need mastered PP to get Fan of Knives (AoE). But well, as it was mentioned, that AoE isn't as great as it should be for all that TM needed T-T Useful only in maps where are many monsters close to eachother, like bats in Count trials.
My fav skill to use is still Shuriken Master, cause of MP cost and fast cooldown.
Credits to diexie for this lovely av&siggy
Ah thanks, this kinda sucks but im use to the I love you! AoE because I sometimes used my cats siren song skill which is terrible with how random it is, the cool down and the lack of monsters usually hit with it not to mention i was not a HP cat and my shield didnt have but 2 bad comps of HP, so hopefully this will at least be an upgrade for me
So what about 3rd job pure fox skills, anything good? I heard that the poison skill was good for bosses but I never really hear about any of the other attacks
I use Chain of Knives occasionally. It's not a terrible skill. It deals a lot of damage, but you go through pots and shurikens a lot quicker. I mainly use it when I'm fighting bosses or I'm training on tough mobs. Shuriken Master and Stone Strike are still my main attacks though.
Fan of Knives isn't worth it, in my opinion. It's just too random.
As for the pure third job skills, there's not many I plan on getting... Just Explosive Expert, Hide, and Poison Assault, which I've heard many great things about. It's helpful for bosses and PvP.
yeah, poison should be good. And what abou item detector? To my understanding it is like the first job skill but better and much longer lasting, though most foxes i know just AFK drill im kinda interested in getting all the drilling skills and hand drilling in certain maps, just wish driller boy could use the crazy drilling stuff
My fox is only 116 lvl, so she isn't 3rd job yet, but I'm also looking forward to Poison Assault, Explosive Expert and Hide o3o Yay, for ninja foxy.
Item detector last longer and it can see stuff underground based on your DA, so no depth problem anymore, but it has a very long cooldown and fails a lot If u have free tm points, it's pretty useful skill to have, when u like to drill manually, at least in my opinion.
I don't AFK drill a lot anymore. It's faster, imo, to drill with item detector and a good drill.
I am a level 43 fox too. I was wondering can you still learn skills for the first job level when you are on the second job level??

Yes, you can.
You can always learn 1st job skills, even at 3rd job
