zero, you'll need Mana Shield at least to level 10 in order to get Light Shield and then Shield of Heaven, Dark Barrier, or all the other elemental shields. The elemental shields aren't as important; however, Light Shield with Shield of Heaven or Dark Barrier is a must get. Also, it increases your MD by up to 45% when mastered, it is useful when your MD isn't good enough to defend yourself against certain types of monsters.
You can follow his skill builds if you want. However, I would suggest getting the skills you need at the moment in order to make trickster fun and easier. I would list out all the skills you currently have. Then, list out all the skills that you want. Lastly, order the skills you want in the order that you think would benefit you the most. xD That way you can save up the correct amount of TM depending on what skill you want.
For example, if my character has already some attack skills (mastered arrow rush) and is lacking defense, I would first focus on some defensive skills in order to stay alive to train. xD However, if you think you have enough defense that you would rather get more attack skills, you can order your build that way. =)
As for your second job, you can advance anytime you want. It wouldn't affect your skills in anyway. =)
Elceya: lifeyyy:Oh i never got far enough to learn heart's grace with my priest, maybe I'll just ask a friend if he can make the vid Much appreciated. =D I tried searching for the skill on youtube or whatever but ended up empty. Was thinking the skill wasn't all that great hence why no one ever talks about it. =S

Thanks so much Lifeyyy!! You're the best. xD The skill is basically the AoE (Party) version of Cure, right? O.o

yeah its a pretty much a party version of cure except the healed amount isnt based on percentage. no targeting required, heals more with more ma, short cooldown, etc etc
you left out mana ring and mana storm, the best potential skills of magic types
stepmania:you left out mana ring and mana storm, the best potential skills of magic types
hmm mana ring.... for me, its only a pre-requisite. Maybe in the latter levels i would consider it for speed lvl'in, but its not too useful for me in the long run for gvg/pvp. Plus, the tm count early to me isnt all that useful, and you need loads of ma of make it cause excellent damage.
As for mana storm... i dont see the potential too well in it. You're gonna have to explain that one to me.
in which case, both skill for me would be considered to learn later as optional unless its a pre-req for me.
i said they're the best potential skills
if you have low ma, they're not that useful
if you have enough ma to ohko the monsters you train on, they're the best skills you have
pvp/gvg is a battle of who spends more myshop, so i never consider that
Mana Ring, I have so-so feelings about it. My AR outdamaged my MR a long time ago. Mana Ring is useful though depending on your build. With my 1441 build, I find that MR was really good to have than the other magic spells as I can cast and run away fast. It still has its usefulness even at later levels. However, when it comes to 1-target spells, I've stuck with my AR which usually 1-hits monsters and with my AoE, I have my Wind Blade. xD
I was actually thinking about getting Mana Storm, but my Dark Lord friend said he never use it and only got it because it's a pre-req. I do enjoy the usefulness of the skill as well though. My newbie future light dragon uses it all the time even with his really low luck. xD
By the way, nice video you made. Makes me want to try out my damages for those skills too.
