This has been happening this yesterday, I can't get throughthe character select, and into the game. When I click on my character,and after like 5minutes, The next thing I know is that it's not responding.I tried re downloading trickster, but it still doesn't work. What can I do? > _<..

Hmm...
Have ya tried clearing out your Cache? That might help as it might be possible for some of your Cache to go expire.
Try temporarily disable your FireWall/AntiVirus and if possible to have Trickster added to your Exceptions. If running other programs; close them all and run Trickster by itself only.
Tho there is a server maintenance coming up tonight, maybe after maintenance that you can try to get into your character again ^^;

Cache is your Private Data, you might have some expired Cache on there. To do that go to your web browser and under Tools, Clear Private Data
For me( after selecting char), I had to wait like 3 mins for a 'ding-dong' sound. First condition cleared. If more than 5 mins with no response means u must try again.
Another few minutes when the screen turns white, means i successfully log in.
Because my computer isnt new. OR connection is not good. Thats y i have to wait that long. I do not know if anyone experience what i do. See if this helps.
im encountering the same problem too... first i scanned pc for viruses, malwares, etc., none found. then tried downloading from three other mirrors and tried reinstalling three times, same result. also disabled firewall and antivirus and all other programs, still same result. even tried lowering the resolution, but still gets stuck during "connecting to game server" after i select my character. also tried all other servers and its still the same result. btw, i did all this TWICE, before and after the last maintenance. admins or anyone please help us. thanks in advance.
I am having the same problem, I have done basicaly the same thing as Glitspyr with the same results.
i restart my pc, then restart TO, did this for a while, then i got through, yaaaay! it takes longer to transfer from another map, other than that everything is fine. then i had to log out coz its late. when i logged in again, its back to the same problem *sigh*. now im thinking that the problem is on the server side, i might be wrong though, but after doing all those things (and more) on my previous post, i cant help but think it. TO wasnt like this before. and look at the other forum threads... mostly connection issues. plus, im not the only one encountering the same problem.
dont get me wrong, i love TO, if i didnt, why would i go through all these trouble? i just want to get this fixed. thanks in advance.
I recently found of one of my friends play TO too. However he does not have the same prob as me. I just hope i can change my comp or is the connectivity tats having probs?
I always feel that a few tricks would work for me, one of it is to go offline at a much more crowded place,especially the ruby island in Jewelia. I login easier that way but not always work successfully
I love TO too but i try for about 1hr login in and if it do not work, i give up n play other games. Its disappointing how things do not go well for something we like.
