PhoenixFire4: Good but uh...Where's Chapter 5 part 3 ._.
I needed to even out my chapters because they weren't starting and ending where I liked, so only chapter 4 gets a part 3 >_>...unless I need to even things out again.
I don't know when I can get back to writing...I've been busy with things and more focused on learning to use photoshop XD; I'll get back to writing when an idea strikes me.
Bump because I love your story so much.

Chapter 7 - Part 1
Zero blankly stared in the direction Ari had gone and started debating on whether he should follow or not. He chose to go after her without her knowing. Ari trudged over the scattered roots and dirt of the forest. “Stupid creepy raccoon…” she mumbled to herself; not knowing Zero was watching from the trees above her. As her anger began to subside, Ari started looking for anything or anyone that could tell her where she was. Zero plucked an acorn from a nearby tree branch and threw it at a sign that Ari had overlooked. The small sound caused Ari to turn and look. She quickly ran to the sign and read it. “Southwest forest…” she sighed. Ari had no idea where that was. She looked closer at the sign and could see something else written. “Me…” was all she could read, but she could see an arrow below it pointing to the trail on her right. Ari figured it wouldn’t hurt to go see what was there. As she began walking on the trail, she started to wonder if she would ever see Shadow again. A sudden feeling of misery swept over Ari from the thought. She then started to wonder why she felt that way about someone she had known for such a short time; it began to puzzle her. Ari didn’t have much time to think after that. A few steps later, Ari found herself in front of a large gate that read “Megalopolis”.
Chapter 7 - Part 2
Ari stared at the sign in awe and she let out a sigh of relief. She knew if she was in Megalopolis, there was a good chance Shadow could find her. The overwhelming feeling of relief made Ari absolutely ecstatic. She let out a cry of joy and hastily ran into the city. Zero jumped out from one of the trees once Ari was out of his sight. He took off his glasses and turned his coat inside out. He then covered the scar on the lower right side of his cheek with a band-aid. Now wearing a blue coat and hazel contacts, Zero casually followed Ari into the city.
Chapter 8 - Part 1
Stores and colorful lights lined the streets as the sun began to set. Ari walked through half the large place seeing many things and people, but she hadn’t been able to find Shadow. Ari sat on a nearby bench and let out a heavy sigh. The day had passed with little progress; but the cheery atmosphere of Megalopolis made Ari think things weren’t so bad. She set up camp in an empty spot and threw herself onto her small bed. As she lay there in the dark, she began to feel increasingly lonely. A thought of Shadow quickly ran through her mind. She pushed the thought away and drifted off to sleep.
Sorry these are so short D: but at least there's alot of them? o_o
Chapter 9 - Part 1
Shadow yawned and stood up; dazed. He hadn’t slept since Ari had been kidnapped. Tired and slightly hungry, Shadow was going to continue searching. “If I ever get my hands on that raccoon, he’s a dead man.” He mumbled angrily. In the short time they had been apart, Shadow had traveled to Megalopolis to look for Ari. As people passed by him, he’d ask if anyone had seen her, but he got no results. As noon eventually came, Shadow continued walking down street after street; each of them just offering more disappointment. He soon walked into the crowded square that was filled with people and shops, but from the corner of his eye, Shadow spotted a familiar looking raccoon.
Chapter 9 - Part 2
Shadow turned around and looked the boy in the eye. The raccoon cringed and took a small step back. “Zero.” Shadow growled under his breath. “That stupid disguise isn’t fooling anyone.” He clenched his fists tightly and then stepped towards Zero slowly. “I’m only going to ask this once,” he now stood face to face with Zero. He grabbed him by his collar and pinned him against a nearby fence. “Where is she?” Zero let out a low snarl. “She’s here in the city. She’s on her own. That’s all I’m going to tell you.” He grabbed Shadow’s arm and tried to push him off. Shadow let go of Zero and let him drop to the ground. “This isn’t over.” Shadow mumbled angrily and walked away.
