Question: The Flicker Drill (from MyShop) says it gives more EXP when used for drilling. Does this count for TM too?

For those poor hobos--Oops, i mean, er.....unlucky individuals who can't buy the Detection Skill(s), it might be boring drilling through the unknown. Here are some tips to curb that!
Always join in any drilling frenzies you see--it might be an item-swarmed ground.
Save up your store-bought drills' life when the ground is soft enough, if you pay a visit back to a beginner area and are bored. SAVE THE FLICKERS AND POPPURI DRILLS! Drills run out surprisingly fast before your very eyes, and you don't want to spend your precious galder on stuff that you could have saved up! Note: I'm only talking to people below level 50. You might wanna save up your galder for job advancement. And also maybe buying a badge off a person emerging from Caballa Relics Dungeon (Bribery!)
Don't waste your drill life on those Driller Marx quests until you have around 500k and already are on the second job. If you don't want to follow this advice, alright, it's a free country.
Get a lot of friends that you can turn to for drilling items. Make sure they are the beneficial type (No offense to the friends who I'm talking so carelessly about) This actually works! I have a couple of friends who pour equips upon my head. :P

When i see people using pop/flicker drills at low level i always PM them and tell them that is best to use that in another place.. Now that neo drills are out (and even though they are expensive) its a lot better than pre-neo-drill where the multi-point drill was hell to use ><

Yes, also level 40 giftboxes can be sold for a decent amount of galder.. in fantasia right now they are around 800-900k.

They arent tradeable, you cant buy one :P
However, one of the (few) things i do help newbies out with, is the kaboom badge. Another is Tanyas sword. The third is Golem. Because really, all those tasks are about impossible for the level you are when you get there, and i see it as unfair. so i do help then.

As you said, this is a free country, however, it's not best to beg your friends for things, esp. if they are poor themselves!
I know if I have people that beg me for free things, they generally aren't my friends.. for very long :P Personally, I offer help to people who are my -real- friends and dont look at me as just being "a benefitial item getter" and that are really struggling with the game.
The #1 reason for this, is I dont play trickster anymore. I sit and chat. I hate getting items for anyone i dont feel strongly about. (Just me though)
