Alright so I dont usually write these, I know. But I found something that I would definately like to share for you people incase you do use Kaspersky and cannot get into the game for -some reason-.
Okay so first thing's first.
Q: What is Kaspersky?A: It is a protection based program for your computer, as it says when you point at its icon "internet security"
So now you may wonder, what's wrong with Kaspersky and why am I posting this up! Well, I'll tell you my case so you know. (Some of you may not have this issue but be glad you dont )
Like any other time, you'll go to click the Trickster icon so you can log in. But Kaspersky will automatically ask you "do you want to allow this program to continue", thats just what its supposed to do. After you click allow, it will start letting Trickster pop up like the usual, as if nothing is wrong at all. But that is definately not the case!
It will start having mini pop ups, in which you cannot really click to exit them. Then, the worst comes..
Just when you see the login screen pop up, either your Trickster will close and you wont be able to open -anything- on your desktop unless you reboot your computer...OR! (this one I hate) Your entire screen will go black, and Kaspersky will say you got an "error" or "Failure" along the way.
!~UPDATE~!
This was posted by someone named "Kheos" right here on the first page of the thread. It SHOULD work.
"What you need to do is Disable Proactive Defense cause when I load proactive defense kaspersky sometimes deletes my online games Gameguard resulting my online games to load properly & gives me errors simular to yours. So first try disabling Proactive Defense & then load Trickster"
This was not a thread -asking for help-This was a thread to -help- those who may own this program and cannot get in with no clue of why.
Thanks for reading!

Thanks for the heads up.
Weird thing is ive been using this computer for 2 years with only windows defender and it never once has gotten a virus yet and works perfectly o-o.
If the facts don't fit the theory, change the facts.
No prob.
I honestly didnt expect this kind of problem to rise up from Kaspersky, but I will definately investigate it a bit and find out the problem, perhaps it just isnt compatible with Trickster.

The main purpose of antivirus software is to protect you if you accidentally go to a bad website. But um...that's actually kind of hard to do, unless someone's using a rerouting url mask. XD

That's actually pretty normal. Computer viruses aren't like the common cold, they're not transmitted by air or physical touch. If you don't open attachments in emails from people you don't know, don't use flash drives or burned cd's that aren't yours, don't download anything from unauthorized sites and don't visit websites with phishers, adware or spyware, you're not going to get a virus or any other kind of malware. The main purpose of antivirus software is to protect you if you accidentally go to a bad website. Thats only true providing your behind a fire wall
However Viruses can still pas throgh net works computer - computer regardless of what you are doing
However they usualy require some on to go poking somthink the shouldent in the first place

My Vista laptop also uses Kaspersky, and yes I have this problem too. ^_^;;
Whenever I want to play Trickster, I always have to turn off Kaspersky first. Oh well, at least I can still keep Windows Defender turned on.
Strangely enough, Kaspersky seems to be compatible with any other free MMORPGs that I have. I wonder why it doesn't work with Trickster?
Ok first of all Meer what version of Kaspersky are you using. My Kaspersky & Trickster are working fine so far. Im using Kaspersky Internet Security version 8.0.0.506. Also I found that problem in the past, what you need to do is Disable Proactive Defense cause when I load proactive defense kaspersky sometimes deletes my online games Gameguard resulting my online games to load properly & gives me errors simular to yours. So first try disabling Proactive Defense & then load Trickster again PM me here on the forums so I can see your results. Hope it works for you ^^
Hillow, Im disabling proactive defense, turn off kaspersky - but nothing.
After pop up about nprotection, game just disapir, from proces=(
Hello Silvo,
What you need to do is repatch your Trickster Client since Kaspersky Internet Security's Proactive Defense deleted your gameguard & caused Trickster not to load properly or will make nothing happen. First repatch it ok then pm me here on the forums for your results ^^. Also after you patch Trickster Disable Proactive Defense then load your Trickster Cient again.
