There are 3 points that I would like toaddress with this post.

1. Account Sharing
2. Compromised Account Security (or “hacked” accounts)
3. Chargebacks

1.) Account Sharing:

In my professional experience, “friends” have asked for account info, then used the borrowed account(s) to post “phishing”site info, or even worse, used the borrowed account to gift or recharge money,then perform a chargeback from the borrowed account and had the “borrowed” friends account permanently closed. The one who performed the trade made off with items and cash, and the friends borrowed account was closed for good… in a worst case scenario, some borrowed accounts were used in an attempt to I love you!…purely out of spite. In any case, the borrowed accounts were permanently closed, and the damages associated with the “borrowed” or “shared” accounts were and will always fall to the responsibility of the registered account holder. These rules exist to protect all of our players from any potentiallymalicious behaviors. Believe me; they’re out there, in abundance.

- Any affiliated website that offers “free” or“discounted” Ntreev USA products will be announced or posted on our official Ntreev.net  or Trickster Online Revolution/Grand Chase game sites, in one way or another. NtreevUSA cannot be held responsible for, and will not provide support for, any contests/events hosted by any unaffiliated site.  Any other unauthorized site may be potentially trying to“phish” for account information, or use “keyloggers” or viruses). Our best advice is to stay away from any unofficial/unadvertised website, at all costs. As a matter of fact, if any site raises a concern at all, please report thesite to us, and we will take appropriate action against said site.

Unfortunately, the potential damage that could result in account sharing of any kind is something that we must investigate to the fullest extent of our ability. Again, if anything bad happens, ever… the registered user of said account is completely liable for any damages that may occur to said account, or any related accounts. Ntreev USA is cracking down on this kind of behavior in a number of ways… and as a consumer myself, I understand the frustration involved on an account that is locked in any way. This is something we take VERY seriously, and we will exhaust all the resources we have to prevent malicious activity of any kind.

As per the Terms of Use Agreement:

Ntreev USA Inc. will not be liable for any loss that you may incur as a result of someone else using your Account, either with or without your knowledge. However, you will be liable for losses incurred by Ntreev USA Inc. or another party due to someone else using your Account. You may not use anyone else's Account at any time. Your membership is personal to you and you may not transfer or make available your Account to others. Any distribution by you of your Account or related information may result in cancellation of your account without refund and additional charges based onunauthorized use.”

2.) Compromised Account Security (or“hacked” accounts):

A compromised or “hacked” account is anaccount that is/was accessed by someone other then the registered user, bymeans that can be construed as malicious or even potentially criminal. If aplayer finds out that the security of an account has been compromised, pleasefile an in-game 911 Report as soon as possible, if the 911 report system is notaccessible, please file a 1:1 Report. We have the capability to potentiallyrestore characters, items, and the like; so do not fret. However, the accountwill be locked so that an in-depth investigation can take place. We willcommunicate with the players via our Account Administration Team.   

Any account user found to be involved in compromising the security of another account may have any and all relatedaccounts suspended or closed for investigation. This may include accounts found to have knowingly received items/money transferred from a compromised account.We will conduct a thorough investigation of both the compromised account andthe account(s) that received the items/money/recharge points and action theaccount(s) based only on the information gathered through our investigation.

If a player illegitimately gains access to an account, all accounts associated with the user in question will be closed…permanently. The “compromised” account will be returned to the registered user. Again, this goes back to the point about not letting anyone else have access to your account, under any circumstance.

3.) Chargebacks

A chargeback is a reversal of a payment card transaction initiated by the consumer who holds the card or the bank that issued the card used in the purchase. This differs from a refund or"credit," which is agreed to and initiated by the merchant at the point-of-sale. A chargeback usually occurs when a consumer files a dispute with their bank or credit/debit card provider.

As per the Terms of Use Agreement:

 “ANYAPPLICABLE FEES AND OTHER CHARGES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE IN WHOLE OR IN PART. YOU ARE FULLY LIABLE FOR ALL CHARGES TO YOUR ACCOUNT, INCLUDING ANY UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES.”

A Chargeback of any kind will result in an immediate account suspension, and then warrant an investigation. This includes if someone else made a charge while accessing your account (again, please do not share your account).

When we investigate we check several things including account security, and make a call based on the information we have.  We either contact the user, or prompt the user to contact us, after validating that the user is the rightfully registered user we then take further action.

Any player that has had the access to their registered account(s) suspended will be prompted to contact our Account Administration Department.

Yes, all 1:1 Reports will be answered, I have more news on that front but that isn’t the topic here.

Please remember that sharing accounts, filing chargebacks, or maliciously gaining access to another players account are direct violations of the Terms of Use Agreement.
