Make sure you have both of the Refine Guide and the refined wooden sword in your inventory.
If it still didn't work, tell me step by step on what you have done throughout the quest.
I've heard the glitch multiple times and yet I still can't figure out the source.
at the start of the quest officer roberts tells me to go and upgrade a wooden sword which he gives me. I do that and get the guide (which is needed to complete the quest)but i sell the guide so i can't complete the quest so I make a new charecter to get the guide and put it in the bank i now have the guide and upgraded wooden sword but officer roberts keeps saying you don't seem to have it on you. I have tried it with about 5 different wooden swords and still the same thing.
Other than selling your guide, is there anything that you have done?
For example, canceling your quest, etc.
And can you give me the screenshot of the conversation with Robert? Each one of them and screenshot of your refined sword and guide.
