Man, good luck step on the 1:1.

(Just a little story about what happened to someone today):

Alright, this guy named "CuteC****" asked GM_Grimm what he can do to prevent himself from getting banned.

Then GM_Grimm said that he can change his name for him.

Poor dude has a life, and said he had to go to church, so he couldn't do it right then and there.

After church, event is over, and GMs are nowhere to be found.

Around night time this guy finds himself banned with no warning until he logged into his account.

The end.

So he has the time to tell the GM he has to go to church, but not the time to tell the GM what he wants his name changed to?

Pff.
I like to show both sides of the story, thanks.

Getting prem/banned for using one that was only just added to this bad word list is not right in any way at all. The only times this stuff happens for a minor offense is when a GM/Admin is having a very bad day and to make it up they go looking for someone to ban to make them feel better. (Yes this has happened in games and on forums witch normally means the end of that game/forum)

I wouldn't really call it a minor offense.

Are you aware of the story behind it?

You're saying this as if the people were unaware that they were using the word in an attempt to harass GM Raven.
It's not like a GM was having a bad day and just hunted random people down and banned them.

I'd understand if he was in a rush. Picking a name for me takes a long while depending on how old the game is. Then you've gotta consider whether someone else has that name or not.
