<STEPMANIA> banned

i think what Step and the others did was right. They stood up for what they think was right. And i agree with them. They whole thing was a joke imo. and, permanent ban ???????????????????????????? okay now GMs went too far. sure they have powers and stuff, but what they did was wrong. heck yea wrong >_> worst than making that crap bout the word _00n. >_< i want step unban. and the others that got permanent ban too. =.=

....this game gets more ridiculous everyday.....Im so Sorry Phuc, I know they dont care about levels and whatnot....but.....this is just saddening.

A permaban was totally inappropriate. :/ I really hope they reconsider....

If the punishment suits the crime, then using the "C word" really must be one of the worst things a Trickster can do now.

But my question is; as things seem, people using the "C word" in general now, gets banned. The GMs are aware we use it as an acronym for Racs, so, shouldn't the case its used be the one that determines it? Otherwise thats like flinging a ban to everyone who uses g4y, spite its correct or wrong. To me, at least.

what if someone who doesn't go on these forums use the word in-game without knowing that it's banned on the forums?

there was NEVER A NOTICE about using the word in game

and it IS NOT CENSORED IN-GAME

if you say "c**n" in-game, it actually shows up

so how are people supposed to have any idea that it's considered a bad word in trickster?

A bunch of the people in The Great Raid saw it as well.
However, I knew that saying anything would just draw flames, as everyone who posted against it was attacked.

The reason it isn't censored in-game is because the in-game filter is stupid and filters all instances of the string, including inside of other words.
Though they were correct: it was blatant disregard for authority and you know it.

Well... I'm pretty sure that if you have a raccoon, whose name contains the word c**n,
and possibly some reference to Raven, chilling in Event Garden with a bunch of other
raccons with IGNs similar to yours, you know about it being censored.

Plus, spamming c**n everywhere and such doesn't help your innocence.

I feel bad for those who were permabanned (just read the thread on mmogames) but I also
can't help but feel that some people took it overboard.

You know full well that the C-word is not supposed to be use be it in this forum or in the game, there have been many occasions that tell this.

Yes, it's impossible to expect everyone to know about this, but generally people that wasn't aware such word is prohibited won't use it as spam/mockery tool. It's not hard to differentiate them.

Your case definitely fall into the latter, you guys knowing full well that such word is prohibited and yet still using it as a mockery tool, not to mention some of you carelessly attacked Ntreev staff, so you can't say anymore that this whole thing is only a joke.

While I believe the punishment is too severe, you are not in the position to excuse yourself from the punishment under the pretense you wasn't aware of the rule.

If only the mule accounts were banned, would you have continued to raid them?

Permaban is pretty harsh, but IMO, it'll stop the raids. For a while, anyways.
