It's actually incorrect to assume that you're going to do "super high" damage to Coral and Desert beach monsters. Try it. You'll be surprised how low it is, compared to what you're used to. Sure, you'll 1-shot them, but that's cuz they don't have much HP.
Torobbies, for example. 0 MD/DP, but 100% resistance. The ONLY reason they die easily is because they lack tons of HP. Show me a torobbie with 10k HP, and I'll show you a boss to reckon with! You think Giuvanni is bad? His resistances aren't at 100%.
If I wanted to impress you with insane damage, I think I'd pick a Giant Coolem or a Regent Orc, as they're highly, highly gun weak. But that wouldn't be an accurate reflection of my average damage. ;O
