Eh, I dunno if it's a Vista issue, but I just installed the game ant it tells me that there is a "Version Check Fail"... Why is this happening?

In the hopes that you are, in fact, useing vista... what program do you have running for music? i've tried media player/center/ etc. and several other programs i have for music to no avail. iTunes maybe?
I've verified this with my Vista OS using WMP as well as DivX.
Maybe if it's not working, you might need an up-to-date codec or maybe it's your version of Vista, not sure.
If it's the codec, then all you need to do is update whatever program you're using to play the music.
Anyways, it is kind of a pain to play music every time I want to play Trickster, so thank you for your Vista-related concerns in advance ^^

has anyone else had a problem where if you close out of trickster, then try to start it back up later, gameguard doesnt start back up, possibly from not shutting off properly when trickster was closed (ive had messages saying it couldnt start because it was already running.. but i havent had one in some time.. the message, not the error) and so trickster has an exceptional error and closes?
it used to be an occasional thing, but now it seems to do it every time.. i have to restart my pc if i want trickster to work again after closing
