With many PCs now shipping with Vista we are looking at improving performance. Below are a list of the known issues with Vista:

-As of the latest patch Trickster functions normal with Vista except there is no sound when playing the game. This is a known issue and we are progressing towards full Vista support. Currently Trickster Online only supports Windows 98, Windows 2000, and Windows XP.

If you have run into any other issues specifically with Vista please respond with a detailed description of the issue, and a copy of your DxDiag.

-Press the Windows key and R.
-Type DxDiag and press Enter.
-Click on the Save All Information Button (Save the file to your Desktop).

Once done open the file on your Desktop, and copy and paste the contents into your post.

In Atrophy's tech thread somewhere he found someone who knows a way *not sure-fire* to get the sound with Trickster. It involves opening WMP or something.

I keep getting "exceptional error" messages.

I can play the game most of the time, but sometimes I will open the game client and press "start game" and it will attempt to start, then display and ok button box with the error message in it. Sometimes a restart can help, but it gets annoying.

 Any help?

Yes I have Vista.

Calm and collected, full of energy and enthusiasm, ...and a walking contradiction. Are you an 18+ Trickster?

I've used the 1:1 support on the main website telling the Trickster Online Team about the no sound issue on Vista like 2 months ago, until now I still get no reply.. I hope you guys can solve this problem as soon as possible.. I am not used to playing Trickster without music/sound. Sad
