The dragon's gender has always been a main question; good job finally answering it.

I always thought he has a gender change or something from first to thrid jobs, second job being the middle stage.

Edit:

What is the difference between Pure and Hybrid when I change to third job?

  • ... ... ...
  • As a Hybrid, you will get access to your counterpart type second job skill. So a Lion will get an access to Fox's second job skills, vice versa. Cats and Raccoons are the exception -- a hybrid Cat cannot get Metamorphosis and a hybrid Raccoon cannot get Evolution.

When you put that Cats and Raccoons are exceptions, it sounds like they don't learn any skills when turning Hybrid (or they learn new skills).  Just rewording for clarity.

EDIT:  Good job, aki.  Is it just my IE, or are L's and I's like highlighted on the thread? XD

If you search through the Character Types Forum,
there's a post about "which character type are you?"
by TheouAegis (or was it LeiMagnus?). It's a nonsensical
quiz, but for many people it seems to mysteriously work.

Anyway,

If you like typical warrior-classes:

Bunny will focus on dealing a lot of damage on one enemy.
Note: this will take a long time to get to godly damage.
Buffalo will focus on dealing a lot of damage to multiple enemies.
Again, this will take a long time to get decent damage.

If you like Paladin-esque classes (not the healing guys):

Raccoon can do a lot of damage and act like a warrior
or he can act like a paladin and have high evasion. He's
also good against magic users.

Cat is built similarly to a Raccoon, but while a Raccoon
can focus entirely on ranged attacks if he wants, a Cat
is pretty much set on melee attacks with high defense.

If you like magic type classes:

Sheep can learn up to 2 elements, giving her versatility.
Wind, Lightning and Earth hit multiple monsters easily.
Fire and Water hit one monster (though fire hits others nearby).

Dragon has the strongest magical attacks and as such
is the most popular perhaps. Dragon also has additional
healing skills (Sheep has a few). Dragon's drawback is it
focuses on one attribute: dark or light. Though later he can
take up a Sheep's skills if he wants.

If you like blacksmithing:

Fox is the character typically best suited for making things.
High DA helps in crafting (useful mostly in events), while a
high LK helps in adding additional stats to equipment.

If you like shooting things:

Lion is the one class best suited for using guns. His skill
tree is almost entirely gun skills. Which pretty much means
he'll also be taking up some of the Fox's skills later.

If you like ninjas:

Fox with a DA build is for you then. But it will take a long
time to get up to real ninja status. Just tossed this out there.
