Hi all, this is icywolfy from Trickster GamicPress!
Check out how I changed screenshots into comics and relate it into my stories in Trickster Online.
I only used a free paint.net and screenshots to do the job.
Here are a few steps to do it
1. Write down a storyboard of what screenshot after another. write down the dialogue.
2. Get your friends to participate in the screenshots - create required screenshot while playing trickster.
3. Use graphic editing software to cut out , convert and ink the screenshot (so that it look comical)
4. Add required dialogue to it.
5. Merge into one canvas size around width 610 x 650 (standard blog size). Thats it!
Now, you can tell your tales in a pictorial format rather than typing it...it's adds more drama and effect to your viewers!

Thanks for the support. Here are some of the behind the scenes work involved
1. Obtain screenshots - just play and printscreen.
2. Install the free editing software like Paint.Net downloadable in http://www.dotpdn.com/downloads/pdn.html and dotnet framework 2.0 here
3. Cut and Crop out from screenshots.
4. Add speech bubble.
5. Save as png for each individual files.
6. Merge into one gamic!

Time Crisis Character Synopsis
Main character LilBitGunner (my ingame lion) the time traveller.
FoxieFox the Harkon researcher / fox archeologist.
XiuLeiJing the poor bunny that only wants to find her missing father.
There will be those shorter 3 panel joke gamic available soon ^^.

Some Hints
Sometimes, if you need help dont forget to PM each other in-game e.g. in acting out some scenes in certain portion of the story. I have a fox, lion and bunny. Backup actors are newbie buffalo, racoon and the dragon (but those three are mainly used for joke gamic)
Cross Overs
If you have more friends doing gamics and both of you share the common storyline - even better you guys can CROSS-OVERs! Woot wonderful like some of the characters get to appear in your friends story and vice versa.
A quicky hint on how to create a flashback effect using soften image in Paint.NET. When you load the screenshot, click on Effect select, Soften Portrait. You can play around with the sliders, but the default settings should do just fine.
The screenshots will change fade their colors to somewhat olden days. This is very useful effect if you have stories / tales relating to the past (plays the titanic song in background ~ lol)
