Hello Tricksters and Knights,

Wanted to make an announcement today about a few of things:

1. We do not allow account sharing for any reason. If we find that an account has been accessed by anyone other than the registered user of an Ntreev USA account, including but not limited to: power-leveling, account trading, account sale (This includes giving out account info to have someone else recharge points), the account in question will be closed permanently.

2. If we find that a player has listed any Ntreev USA account information on any website other than the Official Ntreev USA login sites, we will take immediate action as to close said account and any associated accounts. Character names/Nicknames are fine as we encourage players to interact and this information can not be used to access an account.

3. Using unapproved programs to alter any Ntreev USA published program, site, or source files in any manner will result in immediate and permanent account closure. (This includes Macros)

If a player has any concerns about the security of a registered Ntreev USA account, they should change their password immediately. Ntreev USA takes the security and integrity of their published products very seriously. The Terms of Use Agreement exists to protect all players as well as Ntreev USA itself.

Any violation of the Terms of Use Agreement can and will result in an account action up to and including a permanent ban

Access Privileges to any account are clearly noted in the TOU agreement.

Account Actions

There are 3 points that I would like toaddress with this post.

Account Sharing
Compromised Account Security (or “hacked” accounts)
Chargebacks

1.) Account Sharing:

In my professional experience, “friends” have asked for account info, then used the borrowed account(s) to post “phishing”site info, or even worse, used the borrowed account to gift or recharge money,then perform a chargeback from the borrowed account and had the “borrowed” friends account permanently closed. The one who performed the trade made off with items and cash, and the friends borrowed account was closed for good… in a worst case scenario, some borrowed accounts were used in an attempt to I love you!…purely out of spite. In any case, the borrowed accounts were permanently closed, and the damages associated with the “borrowed” or “shared” accounts were and will always fall to the responsibility of the registered account holder. These rules exist to protect all of our players from any potentiallymalicious behaviors. Believe me; they’re out there, in abundance.

- Any affiliated website that offers “free” or“discounted” Ntreev USA products will be announced or posted on our official Ntreev.net or Trickster Online Revolution/Grand Chase game sites, in one way or another. NtreevUSA cannot be held responsible for, and will not provide support for, any contests/events hosted by any unaffiliated site. Any other unauthorized site may be potentially trying to“phish” for account information, or use “keyloggers” or viruses). Our best advice is to stay away from any unofficial/unadvertised website, at all costs. As a matter of fact, if any site raises a concern at all, please report thesite to us, and we will take appropriate action against said site.

Unfortunately, the potential damage that could result in account sharing of any kind is something that we must investigate to the fullest extent of our ability. Again, if anything bad happens, ever… the registered user of said account is completely liable for any damages that may occur to said account, or any related accounts. Ntreev USA is cracking down on this kind of behavior in a number of ways… and as a consumer myself, I understand the frustration involved on an account that is locked in any way. This is something we take VERY seriously, and we will exhaust all the resources we have to prevent malicious activity of any kind.

As per the Terms of Use Agreement:

Ntreev USA Inc. will not be liable for any loss that you may incur as a result of someone else using your Account, either with or without your knowledge. However, you will be liable for losses incurred by Ntreev USA Inc. or another party due to someone else using your Account. You may not use anyone else's Account at any time. Your membership is personal to you and you may not transfer or make available your Account to others. Any distribution by you of your Account or related information may result in cancellation of your account without refund and additional charges based onunauthorized use.”

2.) Compromised Account Security (or“hacked” accounts):

A compromised or “hacked” account is anaccount that is/was accessed by someone other then the registered user, bymeans that can be construed as malicious or even potentially criminal. If aplayer finds out that the security of an account has been compromised, pleasefile an in-game 911 Report as soon as possible, if the 911 report system is notaccessible, please file a 1:1 Report. We have the capability to potentiallyrestore characters, items, and the like; so do not fret. However, the accountwill be locked so that an in-depth investigation can take place. We willcommunicate with the players via our Account Administration Team.

Any account user found to be involved in compromising the security of another account may have any and all relatedaccounts suspended or closed for investigation. This may include accounts found to have knowingly received items/money transferred from a compromised account.We will conduct a thorough investigation of both the compromised account andthe account(s) that received the items/money/recharge points and action theaccount(s) based only on the information gathered through our investigation.

If a player illegitimately gains access to an account, all accounts associated with the user in question will be closed…permanently. The “compromised” account will be returned to the registered user. Again, this goes back to the point about not letting anyone else have access to your account, under any circumstance.

3.) Chargebacks

A chargeback is a reversal of a payment card transaction initiated by the consumer who holds the card or the bank that issued the card used in the purchase. This differs from a refund or"credit," which is agreed to and initiated by the merchant at the point-of-sale. A chargeback usually occurs when a consumer files a dispute with their bank or credit/debit card provider.

As per the Terms of Use Agreement:

“ANYAPPLICABLE FEES AND OTHER CHARGES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE IN WHOLE OR IN PART. YOU ARE FULLY LIABLE FOR ALL CHARGES TO YOUR ACCOUNT, INCLUDING ANY UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES.”

A Chargeback of any kind will result in an immediate account suspension, and then warrant an investigation. This includes if someone else made a charge while accessing your account (again, please do not share your account).

When we investigate we check several things including account security, and make a call based on the information we have. We either contact the user, or prompt the user to contact us, after validating that the user is the rightfully registered user we then take further action.

Any player that has had the access to their registered account(s) suspended will be prompted to contact our Account Administration Department.

Yes, all 1:1 Reports will be answered, I have more news on that front but that isn’t the topic here.

Please remember that sharing accounts, filing chargebacks, or maliciously gaining access to another players account are direct violations of the Terms of Use Agreement.

Warning about "advertising" links

I wanted to let you know thatthere have been several posts recently in the event shout-boxes that are advertising Free or cheap MyShop/cash points/game cards.

Be wary! These sites are not endorsed by Ntreev USA, and may in fact be designed to illegally gain access to the accounts of players who visit their site. If we did not post the link, do not trust it. Posted links to sites outside of any game that we publish will be investigated and appropriate action will be taken. If you see these links posted anywhere at any time, please report them as soon as possible.

We will officially post any promotions we run or endorse on the Trickster Online Revolution website, the Grand Chase Website or the Ntreev website.

As a general rule, no one offerssomething for nothing.

I wanted to go over a few things here today.

While I spend a great deal of time on the Trickster Official Forums there will be times when I may not be able to address all potential concerns. While I am actively moderating the forums, there are going to be things that I miss. To that end, I am asking that the community help by keeping their eyes peeled.

We would like for all members of the community to feel comfortable posting on our forums. To do this, I will need the help of the community. If you see someone new to the forums please be polite, even if it might be obvious that they’re new. They may not know proper “forum etiquette.” If you politely guide them, they may be a little more receptive to the natural “flow” of our community. If someone is misguided or misinformed, please help educate them.

WE are a community, and as such we should be supportive of one another.

If you dislike a post please do not flame, attempt to defame, or otherwise attack the person. If you cannot keep it civil or observe the Terms of Service Agreement please refrain from posting. Remember, just because you may not like someone does not mean that they do not have valid opinions. You can disagree with someone but keep it clean; a little constructive criticism never hurt anybody. You may disagree with someone on one subject, yet agree on another.

If you are new to the forums: remember, ask nicely and your answers are more likely to be answered in kind. Use the Search function, it is the button on the top right of the forums right below the grey Grand Chase button. You can also Click here to begin your quest for ultimate knowledge!

Punctuation, spelling and proper capitalization may make our lives a little easier, but it’s not required. You can haz Grammar! However, to make the free exchange of ideas and knowledge go smoothly, we appreciate you posting in such a way that everyone can understand you. I think that this will help make the forums a better place; fun for all.

If you see something that you think should be moved to another section, or be removed, click the report button and the post will be reviewed. If you post a brief comment on why you think the post is an issue it will help to resolve the issue quicker.

Test of Strength Sign up is CLOSED

NOTICE

The time has come and gone, and the official sign-up for the Test of Strength PVP Tournament Event is now closed(!), thank you to everyone who signed up O__O we have soooooo many awesome Tricksters ready to duke it out, it's amazing! Stay tuned to the Event page itself, as well as the regular News section, here, for the coming updates on participation in this great new Event!

This week will no doubt prove to be a very busy one! There are many Events coming to a close, as well as prize distributions scheduled for some of our recently ended Events as well. The Test of Strength PVP Tournament had a very successful sign-up, with a lot of Tricksters now on the official roster, ready to compete when the time comes!

We also have been getting some great response on the Forum Event ( Trickster Treat Halloween Forum Event )! One special word on this event, since it is the first time that we have done something like this, and I see that there have been a lot of good questions about the particulars, so here goes:

Some Tricksters have been asking whether or not the final items need to be edible, actually, because of the overwhelming enthusiasm shown, we decided that they do not - because of this, we are extending the boundaries on the contest to include: costumes, jack o lanterns, decorations and other crafts. Make sure that it has a Trickster AND Halloween theme to it in some way ^__^.

What has NOT changed: Any and all entries (in order to qualify) must be hand-made, by YOU (with the assistance of friends or family, and appropriate supervision as needed of course), and must exist in the real world. What we want to see are pictures of the final product, no matter if it is a costume, cookies, a pumpkin, or decoration etc - we want to see what the final result is. It is not in anyway ok to submit pictures, or otherwise claim and take credit for work that is NOT yours, if we find out that this is the case, you will be automatically disqualified.

So, to recap, again, make anything you want , be crafty, be creative, make it in the real world, with your own hands, and make sure that it is both Trickster and Halloween themed!

I hope that that helps to clarify a bit - if there are still more questions... actually there shouldn't be, so make sure to re-read this and the original announcement before posting them on the Thread ^__^

New VIP Grades - Get Bonuses for My Shop Purchases!

Greetings Tricksters!

Just wanted to take a moment to let you know about a brand new addition that has been added to Trickster Online Revolution. If you’ve logged in since the servers went back up early this morning, and got a chance to check out all of the new content and quests, you might have also noticed a new bit of information on the Account Login. If you see the words PLATINUM, GOLD or SILVER under the Account name on the main website, congratulations! You are now qualified for some special rewards! Here’s how it works and what those words mean:

From now on, every month for the entire calendar month, when you purchase Ntreev Cash Points, the total is tallied. When the total amount reaches a certain point, it then qualifies you for a special reward the following month. Depending on how many Cash Points were purchased during the month, determines what VIP Grade the Account will be the next month.

The VIP Grades are PLATINUM, GOLD and SILVER. Each VIP Grade gives you an added bonus during the following month (active as long as the VIP Grade is displayed) for any Cash Points purchased. The bonus is factored a percentage of the points that you buy, and automatically added to the Account. The more points you buy, the more free points you get.

For example, the grading system has accumulated and recorded all the purchases for the month of August that has just passed. If you currently see either: PLATINUM, GOLD or SILVER under the account name when you log-in, then during this month (September), all month long, for every Cash Point that you purchase you will receive, free, bonus Cash Points as well!

Bonuses per Grade:

PLATINUM +10% to every Cash Point purchase

GOLD +5% to every Cash Point purchase

SILVER +2% to every Cash Point purchase

This new VIP system is an ongoing addition to Trickster Online Revolution that will be in place from now on. The Grade qualifications reflect the purchases from the month previous only, and your VIP Grade status can change every month, depending on how you wish to purchase Cash Points.

To qualify for the different Grades you must purchase the following amounts in one calendar month, quite a few Tricksters have already qualified for all three Grades, so make sure to check if you are one of them:

SILVER $100 USD

Trickster Online Revolution is a free game, and it is always free to join and free to play. New World for Trickster Online!

Clarification for Recent Events and Awards! :::IMPORTANT:::

There have been quite a few questions coming in regarding some of the recent rewards for passed events, as well as the particulars for some of the new ones. As such, the folloing are some clarifying points to help make sure that everyone is on the same page ^__^.

1) If you believe you didn't get the right prizes for Blacksmith Marx Event, please submit a new 1:1 Support request with the following information for each item in question:

Weapon Name:

Refining Level:

How the item was obtained:

(This can be generic such as "Player Shop", "Personal Trade", or "Ground Pickup")

Upon receipt of this information, we will attempt to verify the eligibility of the equipment specified.

2) Regarding the Level-Up Event, in order to be eligible for prizes, one character on the account in question must gain 30 levels during the event period. The character may begin from any level, as long as 30 levels total are increased before the maintenance period. This does mean that new characters will be considered eligible if they reach level 31. Additionally, this only pertains to one individual character, and not, 30 levels attained across multiple characters during the event.

3) To clarify the distribution of prizes for the Maturing Compound Event, only the single best Black Dagger compounded per account will receive any prizes. This means that if there are multiple daggers compounded to qualifying levels, only one of them will receive the reward.

Additionally, prizes for the Maturing Compound Event are rewarded cumulatively based on the best possible Black Dagger compounded by the account. This means that a Black Dagger with 900 MP compounded will be eligible for every tier of prize package.

Thank you everyone, for taking the time to read this announcement, and I hope that we were able to help shed some light on some the mechanics of these Events and their rewards.

Regarding the Spread the Word Forum Event & Prize Distribution.

Greetings Tricksters!

Last week we launched our first Forum Event, the Spread the Word Event, which was designed to promote Trickster Online and to offer the opportunity for new players to learn about our game that might not otherwise be exposed to it through traditional web space. Unfortunately, the Event had a very mixed reception. A reception that we here at Ntreev USA and Megalo Company were not comfortable with. It would seem that the original intent for the Event was not carried over or was being misinterpreted. Because of this, the decision was made to end the Event early and post-pone a decision regarding any rewards for those that did, in good faith participate.

Now, a decision has been made regarding the rewards for this Event. Again, we would like to thank all of the Tricksters who did participate in this Event in the way in which it was intended and designed, especially those Tricksters who did not ignore the rules and guidelines of the Event but followed them faithfully. We thank you for your support and hard work in this effort. However, since the Event could not be properly completed, and due to the fact that not all players had the opportunity to participate in the Event true to the way in which it was designed, the decision has been made to not issue rewards.

As was stated in an earlier Announcement, it is unfortunate that the Event did turn out this way, yet, Trickster Online as a game, and a community are both growing, and no progression is ever made without the occasional misstep. To this end, again, we apologize for any of the confusion or any inconvenience that this may have caused. We would like to move on, now that this Event has ended, and take all that we have learned from it and apply it to our continuing efforts to make Trickster Online even greater.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding in this matter. The decisions made throughout the entire Event were not easy, from the initial conception through to the final decision regarding the rewards. We also thank you for your understanding in this respect and thank you for being such an intricate and important part in what makes Trickster Online truly great. Without you, the Tricksters everywhere, we could never hope to achieve the game and community that we are striving for.

Update on Rewards for Forum Event.

Greetings Tricksters, and I must apologize for not brining this to you sooner. However, Megalo Company is working hard to find the best solution in terms of the rewards for the recent Spread the Word Event. While an official decision was not made yesterday as planned, we are much closer to a solution.

I will make an Announcement as soon as a decision is made and the particulars are ironed out. Thank you everyone for your patience and understanding in this matter. Again, I will post an Annoucnement as soon as I find out myself.

UPDATE:

A final deicison has been made and it's particulars are being ironed out. The final decision regarding the rewards for the Spread The Word (Forum) Event along with the details, and particulars will be announced on Monday July 16th. Make sure to check the Forums and Official Website for further information on Monday.

I was meaning to post this yesterday, however, recent events obviously needed more attention (and are still being reviewed, rest assured). For anyone who has been poking around the front page of the official site, you may have noticed a difference - a new version of the Start-up Guide has been added. This time it's a comic-guide from Aleister D D Gilgrim (the webcomic artist who brings Megalo Life to Trickster Online every week). The button on the right hand side of the screen is in the same place (the green one), and is labeled Comic Guide, the page it will take you too is brand new! Even if you're a veteran and know all of the information that would be covered in the guide, the new format makes it well worth a read ^__^.

We certainly hope you enjoy it, check it out when you get a chance!

Greetings Tricksters,

Progression in any field is never a straight line, instead it is often a winding path that sometimes leads to set-backs, double backs, dead ends or even short-cuts. The recent Forum Event that was posted last night has caused quite a stir among the Trickster Online community. Sometimes, that sort of buzz is great, but other times it can get to the point were it is little more than damaging to a Community's integrity. We here at Ntreev USA, Megalo Company and of course specifically, Trickster Online, pride ourselves on working to not only provide a great online gaming experience for all of our Players, but also to create a pleasant, enjoyable environment for you to play in as well. It would seem, that our most recent event has worked to the contrary of this particular and singular goal. Hence forth, the event is disbanded.

For clarification, I will state it again: THE SPREAD THE WORD EVENT IS OVER.

Anyone who has read the interviews with our producer, Eugene Kim (yes, the man who made the original game!), on sites such as MMOsite.com, knows that the community here for Trickster Online is something that we are very, very proud of. We feel that the community here is something that really sets us apart from many of the other online titles out there, and it would seem that this most recent event was well on its way to damaging that community. We are indeed very proud of our community, and we also want to be the company, the game, the online experience that you not only enjoy, but can rely on and be proud to be a part of as well.

As for the rewards for this event, a decision and the particulars of that decision will be announced later today.

Events are tricky things, and out of game events can be even more difficult to manage, predict, or control. Therefore, with this in mind, we wish to apologize for the lack of notice in the ending of this event, and to let you know that this was a decision directly from Ntreev USA and Megalo Company for the better interest of our players and our community without ulterior motive or pressure. For you, our community, we do apologize for this stumble along the way to a better game and online experience, we're not perfect, we will make mistakes, and we will correct them, whenever possible! Thank you for your continued support and patience, thank you, Tricksters all!

For those Tricksters that have been around our Forums for a while, you may have noticed some folders popping up and changing places. For those Tricksters that are new to our Forums, you might still see some of us this as we continue to streamline the Forums to better suit you, the players!

That's right! We've been modifying the Forums and re-organizing them to better help you find the answers, and connections to the community that you want and need! As we continue to fine-tune our new changes, we humbly ask for your patience and understanding.

As the changes are made some Threads and Posts may be moved. If you can no longer find a particular Post or Thread, make sure to check the registered email associated with your Forum ID. If a Thread that you authored is moved, an email will notify you as to where it has ended up.

In addition, we have made some new sub-folders to make things more efficient and easier to navigate! The following changes and folders have been added, complete with new descriptions to help make navigation through the Forums more intuitive!

Character Type Forum and Specialized Sub-Folders for all 4 Types have been added.

Trickster Lab has been combined with Trickster Questions to form the new Trickster Questions & Guides Forum. A Sub-Folder for Events & Quests have also been added to this particular Forum.

Trickster Online Media has added a new section entitled: Trickster Lore. This new section is for fan-fiction, poems and all related materials.

The Bug Reports Section has been changed to Trickster Tech and new Sub-Folders for in-game Bug Reports and other Technical Issues have been added.

The Off Topic Lounge has been added for all discussions not directly pertaining to the game itself. This is the place to discuss other media and non-Trickster related material, including word games, polls and the like.

And finally as was stated in a previous Announcement, Megalo Life, the official weekly webcomic for Trickster Online has been moved to the official site.

Each of these new sections will have an Announcement Post detailing what they are for and how they should be used. As with all the official Forums for Trickster Online, and as was stated in a previous Announcement, we expect all Forum users to be responsible for their posting to make sure that they are in the correct section or Forum, and of course to follow the general guidelines of conduct previously posted. If a post has been recently made that would be better suited to a new section or Sub-Folder, they will be moved manually by the official Forum Team, you don’t have to worry about it yourself!

Thank you again to everyone who has helped to truly make the official Trickster Online Forums a wonderful, useful and comfortable place for all Tricksters to get together, hang out and share ideas! We are very proud of our community and thank you again for being so patient during this process!

Boy, oh boy! That cliche about time and fun certainly seems to be true! Especially now, with the summertime already here.
