Chuushingura: A Japanese legend about 47 samurai who avenged their lord's execution. Legend has it that their lord suffered a grave insult from another. In his anger, he drew his sword to strike down his transgressor while at a ceremony in the shogun's palace. That's a big no-no. For his crime, he was sentenced to be executed while the man who sullied his honor was allowed to go unpunished. When their lord's domain was confiscated, the 47 samurai were jobless and homeless (ronin). They made a pact to avenge their lord's death after things cooled down. So sometime after the incident, 46 of the ronin invaded the enemy of their former lord's residence and murdered him in the middle of the night. They then all committed suicide. The 47th ronin was too young or something and was left behind to tell their story to the officials.

It's one of those stories like Edgar Allen Poe's "Hop Frog," where society dictates that you should frown upon the murders, yet deep down you approve of the bloody vengeful actions.

Well......this was meant to be just for fun, nothing serious. It's been about 3 months since anyone posted, so I don't think this thread really has too much significance anymore.

Cut me some slacks, I find it exceptionaly hard to deal with Helba and not ~~bursting your vein~~ pulled to her pace.
