Yes, re-installing won't delete your characters, because your characters are saved in the internet not your computer.
But..re-installing isn't much of a good idea, cause its my last resort, but you could give a 1:1 report to the GMs stating that you are having this problem, they would give you instructions or fix something in the game, sometimes there are really stuff like that happening to people in the game, and you just have to wait at least...2 days... :|

Yes, although I believe you lose any sreenshots in the ''Capture'' folder, so if you have any shots you'd like to keep I'd recommend making a copy of it before uninstalling.

yes u still keep ur character cuz its all saved in the server side not client side...
but usually i juz wait cuz sooner or later ill be able to update or login back to the game....
i have the same problem before n i juz wait then try after waiting then i can get back to the game...
i never uninstall my trickster...
