Okay, I have a pretty big issue here. After I select my character and press "OK" the game just gets stuck. No error box or anything, it just hangs there. I tried re-intalling, disabling my firewall and restarting the computer.  My antivirus is AVG Free, if that has anything to do with this. Please help me get this thing working again.

Thanks in advance.

This happens when you are triying to login in a place where are a lot of people, like in megalopolis near the shops, to fix this you will need a lot of memory RAM, about 2gb+ i have 1.21gb and i still have troubles with that, be sure everytime you will log out do it in a safe place, i meant a place where are no people there (For me Azteca Sauna). Also you don't get error messages, but you get a sound "dun..."

Hmm, well I can't really log-out in a safe place considering this is a new character (so it spawns me on the ship, I think). It doesn't work with any of my other characters either (the game used to work a while ago, so I have some old chars...don't remember where I parked them, though). Maybe if I try turning off all the stuff running in the background, it will work. (although, I don't think I have that much stuff running anyways, so maybe my computer just sucks too much)

Also, I have 1.3g memory. You say you have trouble with 1.21, but it still works, right? Dammit, why does this game hate me!?

Then add more virtual memory, right click on My Computer, settings, advanced options, Rendering (configuration), advanced options, Virtual Memory, Change, Custom, change the initial to: 1000~1300 then, the max to: 1400~1800. Rebot and then you are done, check if Trickster works now.

@iPaws: i have AVG too, i didn't do that about add to exception list and trickster works, but u can still try it if you want.

I have a similar problem. The only difference is i seem to be able to log in on any character 100% of the time the 1st time but any how I attempt to change characters this problem comes up. If possible I would like to avoid restarting my computer everytime I have to switch characters. I've tried changing the visual memory settings and I'm sure it's not my RAM because I've run Trickster just fine on this computer in the past. I also noticed I'm able to log into my second account but not my 1st when the 1st gets stuck like this.
