THE MANDRADORA QUEST HAS A BUG. I KILL & KILL MANDRAGORAS AND THE # STAYS IN 0. I'VE TRIED IT 3 X AND DOESN'T WORK. (ON DIFFERENT DAYS) I'VE EVEN PRESSED (ALT) BUTTON & THE MONSTERS ARE NOT RECOGNIZED.

There are 2 different kinds of Mandragora normal ones and the so called mutated Mandragora.
You probally have to kill the mutated ones for this monsters quest.
They can be found at Caballa relics field 1 but they are pretty rare.
They usually have a higher level than the normal ones and their protection status is "unknown"
