Hi, well yeah, heres the story, im rejoining and just made a new character, but im kinda confused on the builds and all the terms everyones using XD with the 4114 HV stuff @.@ but yeah anyway...I was wondering what a good build would be, the one that would be most sought after, i already can say i plan on going to Gambler (which is pure i believe) thanks for taking the time to respond ^^
Well, going everything in Power and Charm (4114) isn't always the *best* idea. Sure, you'll have good power, but you'll lag behind in WT, LK, and DA (all of which you DO need.) if you have a good WT accessory, or LK/DA set, then 4114 is ok. I, on the other hand, would suggest 3124, so put one more point in sense. You can still do almost as much as 4114 (like, what, 2,000 damage difference?), but, you pwn them in WT, LK, and DA. Now, there are like...6 ways you can do this. Pure (means put all your bonus level points in one stat) or mixed (put multiple level points in more than one stat, or 2 in one, and 2 in the other.) Anyways, you can be Pure Attack power (recommended for a beginner), Half and half in AP and HV (I've tried this myself, I didn't really like it), Pure HV, which allows you to dodge more, and do more damage with some Charm skills. (Metamorphosis, Card Strike (which is based both on AP and HV), etc.), Pure HP, you won't get hurt as much, and last longer, but it will take you longer to kill a monster, which can be fixed with some AP compounds. All in all, I would suggest Pure AP or HV. Do you want more attack power, or more easily to stay alive? That's up to you. If you're on Fantasia, I could help you. My in-game name is TheShadowKing. Put 3 in Power, 1 in Magic, 2 in Sense, and 4 in Charm. A Gambler is the pure 3rd Job of a Raccoon. It gets powerful 3rd Job skills.

Put all 4 bonus points (everytime you level you get 4 of these) into either AP (more attack power), HV (more dodging), HP (lol self explanatory). :)
About the skills, it kind of depends what you want to be haha ^^' but I would highly recommend getting dodge master, sturdy shield, powerblow (IF you go AP!!!!! powerblow is useless for pure HV imo), physical training, and maybe later get mana reflector, shield all, and skunk pouch (note: skunk pouch i would save until waaaay later....because it's not very useful except in pvp or bosses and none of your skills for 2nd job depend on skunk pouch...it's only 3rd job Full house you will need it...so save your points for something more useful that is needed for a 2nd job skill :D) if you have enough points ^^ Oh and get some good AP equips if you are planning on going pure HP or HV ;). For second job, card strike, super hips, impelling rage (useful AoE= hit 2/more monsters), one pair, and lady luck, and if you do decide to go pure HV, maybe you'll consider getting metamorphisis and wild nail :) haha and even if you aren't pure HV, you can still get meta and wild nail :D hahha...personally I think meta combined with wild nail does some pretty awesome damage ;) and meta turns you into a sexy beast <3...for Third job if you still haven't gotten skunk pouch, learn it and then you can learn Full House (one of the best Gambler moves ;D), um also if you did learn meta, then you can learn heavy hit..and powercharging is a more powerful version of impelling so that's also coolios :D...and I have never seen someone do summon card soldier so I dunno about that one except for the fact that you have to be in meta state to use it XD
Note: Those skills that I just listed...they don't have to be learned in that order..those are just suggestions of mine that I did do/will do XD...Key: bold are skills that most people should have. italicized bold are skills that are optional to learn for either 1st, 2nd, or 3rd job. And all the skills that I have not listed (there are a ton more) are in my opinion a waste of points hahha o-o'' but it's all up to you ^_^ I'm just giving you my suggestions and you can take them or not ^_^

AP - If you want to focus mainly on the damages with cards (ex: card strike,one pair & full house)
HP - Ok about this, this is mainly used for impelling rage & power charging (and hard to die, cause of tons of HP)
