Hey guys! After a long..."Break" (suuure), I'm back to write more :P Feel free to criticize, just don't say "your story sucks" or what...Yeah I'll shut up *ahem* Story time!
A cold wind blew over Caballa Island. The sky, a cloudless gray. Thunder boomed, but no lightning, lightning struck, but no rain. Trees fell over, weak from age. This was how it was, ever since the wars. Since people were evacuated to the new Eden Island. It was quiet, yet some people stayed.
The people here broke into three groups: The smarties, the ones who left to Eden, the dumb ones, the ones who stayed, and the drifters, the ones too poor to leave. At least...That was how Kyo saw it. He sighed and looked through the heavily condensed window. He drew a smiling face with the tip of his finger, then smeared it away. He sighed, and got up.
Kyo was a dumb one, but more forced than out of his will. A company called G.Y.R.O, hired him in since his few days on the island. What the G, the Y, the R, and the O stood for, he still didn't know. They were responsible for cleaning up crime, and keeping the place safe. But everyday, he would ask himself the same question "What crime?" And that was what it was like. He stood in the building, just waiting for something to happen. Some days he'd goof off, some days he would just sleep.
"What I don't understand" he thought to himself, "There was no crime from the get-go, why was this even necessary?" he thought to himself. He poured himself a glass of water, the only fresh water in the city, and stared back out the window, a light rain pitter-pattering down. Then he heard the siren, the one that meant there was some trouble. He got up and shuffled himself out the door. The other members rushed ahead of them. "Come on!" they said, but what he heard was "Take your time! It's a false alarm!", he walked out the door and slid the gun out of his holster. And that was when he saw it.
And there you go. :D

Chapter 2: Drones
There was an odd man standing in front of them. One of his eyes missing, 2 robotic tubes wrapped around him, inflating and deflating when he breathed, and disgustingly muscular. He just stood there, and they stood back. There was no movement for about a minute. Then out of nowhere, a bullet pierced his head. He fell to the ground with a thud. Everyone got a bizarre look. "Someone had to do it.", Rita's voice said. Rita was a tall, elegant woman. But she had one flaw, she thought she was perfect, a god if you would.
Kyo stepped up to the man. He examined him. Down his back his spine was bulging out as far as it could, just about to break the skin. He had some bruises, so you could tell he was in a fight before. "What the..." he said. "Probably just a drifter.", Mike suggested. "Yeah but...There's...Something just not right about him. He almost looks like a monster." he turned and looked away. "Whaddaya you guys think?", just then an odd beeping noise went out. Out of instinct, Kyo's eyes darted back to the corpse. A weird light was flashing in its head. "Stomp stomp stomp" footsteps as loud as an eruption shook the ground.
Suddenly, people who looked like the man where everywhere, by tens, by hundreds, all around them. And they didn't look like they wanted tea and crumpets either. "J-Just some...Drifters." Mike said, again. His muscles were retracting in fear. "You guys don't know about them?", a voice said. Of course it was their boss, Scarlet. "Drones. Weak drifters--" "HA! I WAS RIGHT!" Mike boasted. "...Turned into mindless freaks. They're harmless, however." she walked up to one, and punched it. It fell right to the ground, as the other one. They stared in amazement as she slammed them like they were dummies. But then, for some reason, Kyo felt sick. "What the...", he collapsed to the ground, not even knowing it himself.

Chapter 3: Finder
Kyo woke up in a strange room. He tried to move, but he was restricted by shackles. Through the small window, a storm was now raging outside. Then suddenly the door opened up, and a man walked through. Judging by his looks, he was definatly a Raccoon.
He was dressed in black, with dark blood-red hair. "Good morning Sleeping Beauty." he said. "What happened?", "Ha! You're boss didn't know any better. My drones had a toxin in them. After a minute of unconciousness, they leek out a sleeping gas. And that was how I got you, and your other friends here. "Well...Why the chains?" Kyo demanded. The man chuckled, "I wouldn't want you running off before I experiment with you. You would make a strong drone.". "What are you talking about?", "Easy, I'm just going to kill you, then make you like the rest. Don't worry though, it'll only hurt forever." he let out an insane laugh. "I'll be right back, hang tight.", and he stepped out the room. "Ok, that dude's nuts." Kyo said.
He tried to break free of the rusty chains, to no avail. The door opened back up. Rita and Mike stepped in. "C'mon!", "How did you guys--", "No time for that, let's go." Mike walked up and ripped the chains off of Kyo's limbs. They dashed out the door and a siren rang off. "ATTENTION! PATIENTS LOOSE! REPEAT; PATIENTS LOOSE!", they made it to the door, but it was locked. "Did you guys think you could really escape?" the man said again. "Guards, finish them off."
