Chapter 20: Level Up
A brisk, cold breeze rushed through the leaves of sycamore trees like a freeway. Branches cradled glassy dew drops, mirroring a mana arrow flying at sonic speeds.
"Siren Song!" Aelita cried out.
"Use Mana Ring Hito!" Miu cheered on.
"Mana Ring!" Hito yelled then hopped on one of the revolving mana disks to ovoid the swiftly flying musical note shieurunkans.
"Electro Shock!" Hitomi screemed and nearly an ocean of static shot out at Aelita.
"Volley kick!" Aelita kicked out high in the air against the rush of bitter wind and preformed a back flip over the stream of crackling electric waves.
Then Aelita sprinted at full speed at Hito, Golden lights surrounding her.
"SHOCKWAVE!"
And a huge blow hit Hito straight in the stomache, passing through her mana shield.
"Whooo! =D" Grace cheered.
"That was a GREAT battle congratz you two!!!" Choco smiled.
"Cure~" Miu healed Hito and helped her back to her feet.
"You did GREAT Hito!" Aelita smiled. "You would have beaten me if i didnt have a sprint x3"
"Lol True that but good game^^" Hito shook Aelita's hand.
"Oh and guess what this necklace is!" Aelita beamed.
"What?" Grace asked, curious.
"Its a harkon guardian necklace." Aelita explained.
"Omg...isnt there only like four of those in trickster?!?!" Hito was amazed.
"Yea...Sense,Charm,Power, and Magic. That must be the charm one!" Grace shined.
"oooo I want a magiiic one =3" Draco hopped up and down.
"Draco ._. you already are a magic type." Miu rolled her eyes.
"Awwwww ;-;" He responded.
"Oh be right back. I left my water in cherry blossom!" Aelita ran off.
"Hey Graci do you want to battle again?" Miu smirked. "Definately~" Grace laughed. "Say Go!"----------------------------------------------------
"Mana arrow!" Miu caught speed with her arrows as she came from a free fall of at least two thousand feet. "Whirlwind blaze!"
Miu became surrounded in a fiery whirlwind that made her catch speed.
"Whoo!!!!" Choco screamed out, seeing the amazing sight of blue lights surrounded by blazing fire and mana arrows charging down at the ground.
"Siren song!" Graci shot out music notes heading for only one destination: the sky.
"Bolster ballad!" Miu caught the notes in a swirling musical ring all around her.
At that point, anyone could see that Miu was nearly unstoppable.
"Mana reflector!" "Mist of Mana!"The two girls tried everything to get a great hit on the other opponent.
Just as Miu was about three yards from touching down all her enormous power, Graci made her move.
"VOLLEY KICK!" she screamed out, kicked Miu in the head, and Miu passed under her as she backflipped.
"Ugh.." Miu felt her head. Then turned back into the air.
She went higher, and higher, and higher.
Then everything was silent...still...black.
What is this?...
She came tumbling back to earth from the heavens, wings as wide as the trees were tall stretching out, made of burning fire.
Then everything was still, heartbeats louder than a nucleur bomb.
Graci was still.
Miu came down, a whirlrind of fire enveloping her, mana drowning her voice, fiery wings pointing down and causing her to pick up speed.
Unstoppable.
And Miu hit down, at full power.
All seven mana arrows attacking Grace, the whirlwind of fire trapping her in 150 degree heat.
Graci fell to the ground,the ends of her Violet hair burned.
Then everyone was silent.
Hito ran out as fast as she could and healed Graci.
White lights cast around her, and she openned her eyes, "Amazing."
Then the Brigade cheered, Suzuki, Rizuki, Shannon and Mizzy walking up to Miu.
"You're more than ready." Suzuki smiled.
Then a tear almost came from Miu, but stayed in her turqoise blue eyes.
That was for you; mom.
"Wheres Aelita?" Choco asked.
"She's getting water^^" Mizzy smiled.
Then an involuntary tremor challenged the ground, and most of the brigade fell.
"....What was that?"
