Ok~ so I've been researching this game and recently started looking at characters, and decided to make a lion for my first (hooray for nooby researcher). My problem: I don't know which kind I would want.
I would like to see skill builds for both of them so I can decide. Please help.
Thanks~
(When I decide, I'll post my choice.)
uhmm, i know nothin much bout lions, but imo,
u could just make a buffalo, since it's a beginner friendly class, easy to use...
just a suggestion mate~ ^^v
Thanks for the reply. I'll look into that also.
anytime~
Hmm I dont know if Lion is the best one to start whit. Well I abandoned my Lion around lvl 45 so far I got Dragon, Sheep , Fox , Lion have tried to play cat's both pure and hybrid. But so far dragon hybrid and pure (lights) perfect for gvg's and pvp. Sheep hybrid same there. Fox can kill every boss out there now whit unique's whit out any problem. Lions on the other hand as it is now miss shield skill so they end up dying fast. Unless they got ALOT of hp.
Well every one got to start some where but Lion's gives fast lvling and fast good dmg. (after 2nd job)
But die easy in gvg and pvp.
So its all up to you what you want to do.
And good luck whit deciding.

Hi, hi! It's your pal, SashaSirius.
Lions are theoretically more difficult than other characters because they require a bit more planning than other characters. Lions who use guns can't use shields, which are sometimes a big source of HP. But the good thing about gunners is that both AC and GunAP add to their offensive power. So...you can get two sources of power, which leads to lots of offensive strength.
If you choose to use a Shuriken Lion (those are the sexiest characters in Trickster in my opinion), you'll have to wait until third job to get a few of your more useful skills. At second job you'll have fewer skills to get because most of their best skills are made for guns. However, you're right--with more DA you'll be a better driller, and you'll be able to use offensive skills too.
Once you make the choice you can ask for additional advice and people with more specific knowledge about Lions will be able to help.
