Hello Tricksters We wanted to address the language issue. The decision to have players speak in English in public channels was made for Administrative reasons, as well as to encourage more player interaction, build relationships in the game, and prevent misunderstandings. This rule applies to all Ntreev USA published games and forums. To play the game it is understood that each player understands the English language, at least enough to understand the TOU. Every other language out there cannot be assumed and therefore English was chosen as the language. If everyone who played the game could be assumed to speak any other language then we would allow that language as well. If English is a language that you are not overly familiar with take this a way to improve your language skills. We enjoy the company of players from around the world, and encourage them to play and enjoy their time with us as well. We are unable to offer support in any other language, therefore we must insist that only English is used publicly and in communication with Ntreev USA staff. Since we are unable to offer support in any other language, this also means that we can't monitor the use of that language in chat to ensure that all the rules are upheld and that we are providing a safe and enjoyable play experience to everyone. Finally, as other players in the forums have pointed out, since the game is localized to English and is advertised to an English-speaking audience, as a matter of courtesy it is necessary to use English when communicating with other players in public. Ntreev USA does not openly monitor private chat between consenting individuals. However, we do monitor general lines of communication in which other players do not have a choice but to witness what is stated. We must be able to extend the highest level of security to all players while abiding by the Terms of Use Agreement (A legal document signed and or agreed to by all Ntreev USA account users). The Terms of Use Agreement, Privacy Policy, Announcements, rules, and regulations are all posted in English, and those tools are what we use to protect all members of our gaming communities. Please understand that if we had the ability to service any of our games in Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Korean, Thai, Khmer, Finnish and many other languages we would do it... in a heartbeat. As a matter of fact, our games have expanded to a number of countries around the world. Being able to monitor all the possible languages, and varieties within each language, is not feasible at this time. Private communications can be in any language all the participants agree on. In public channels when a player speaks in a language unknown to other players it causes confusion, misunderstandings, and causes unneeded complications for all players. We recognize that there are community members from around the world; some of them make great contributions to the community. The best way to contribute to the community is to communicate with the community in a manner that can be understood by the whole community. As for the Remarks that we are being racist by enforcing this policy, this is flat out untrue, and uncalled for. We are not preventing anyone from speaking their language of choice, we are just asking that when speaking using a public means of communication you speak in English as this is the language recognized universally. Now for the let us speak our own language threads, and in game comments, we do like the feedback of our players, and take it to heart. If you wish that we amend this policy please make a civil suggestion thread in the suggestions forum. In the future the policy may be amended; however at this time our decision is that in public channels of communication player are to speak using English so that all players can understand. Thank you, Ntreev Staff
