I think the general negativity cynicism of the MT and now MMOG crowd has kind of killed those communities for me. These days we have active, positive and construtive posters on our forum. The difference between now and last year is pretty significant. 

I second the bolded part, it doesn't take Einstein to notice the hatred towards the official forum community, even to those with sensible mind.

I guess it's impossible to expect us to meet eyes to eyes, but that's beside the point.

Anyway, doesn't notice much differences except the fact since we have Raven, this forum is much more organized.

I mourned to some lost faces though, like caskett, NegaRutabaga, Atrophy, jedispooki and Pahya.

Ah, true, I forgot caskett and Pahya....never knew "NegaRutabaga" though.  Spooki's not really gone...I mean, he came back!  Though, seems to be MIA lately.

We lost Naska, too.  o.o;; 

I miss Naska just as much as I miss 3vil.

And speaking about MIA, we still have Amelinah, Emotive, Katester, TainNgo, InfoBroker and SweetPink.

XD;;  Ah, come on.  Naska wasn't that bad!  He posted stuff that made sense (unlike 3vil)...he was a little pushy, but then so am I, as far as rules go.  O.o

 

[edit] Amelinah announced a while ago that she was quitting.  So did SweetPink, though she said she'd post on Off Topic in her spare time.  Katester came back to post about a few recent issues, but hasn't done much else.

[edit2] .__.  Zeph...XD  Oy!  Ahh, InfoBroker told me ig he was tired of Trickster, and quit.  Emotive, I dunno...TaiNgo came back not that long ago, though hasn't been very active.

Sorry, my memory is not that strong, missed couple of people here and there.

I had quit for awhile. I have only started to pick it back up slowly this month after quitting for about... 3-4 months? I forget. Maybe 5 months. Anyway... yeah I haven't seen much difference, at least with character posts.

Yeah.
These forums aren't anywhere near as active as the *insert whatever you call the other forums here* forums. Also, there's a lot of high-level people who frequent there, whereas there aren't too many here.

and that can cause some problems

i've been to the magic type section from time to time and man...

lots of responses give incorrect or bad information
