Sorry Tuvis, but I have to disagree with you. Either everyone heals, or no one heals. Otherwise, it just isn't fair. "A lot of mages don't have defensive capabilities"? Yeah, well, neither do a lot of other classes. Your defensive capabilities depend on your build and your gear.
One of my guild mates (a wizard) and I were dueling a while ago. When neither of us healed, I could kill him fairly easily. If he healed and I didn't, I was killed just as easily. When we both healed, we were kind of at a stand-off. His heals did too much for me to undo them, and he has TONS of MP. I couldn't do enough to him fast enough to counteract his heals. One heal, and he could undo about 1 1/2 shots worth of damage...and it took me at least 3 to kill him. So he could take 2 hits while he hit me, then heal himself back to full health and do it again. He was doing more dmg to me than 1 potion could heal. You can't attack while using potions, so you're just as frozen as a spam-healing mage. MP runs out, well, so do potions. Even with my massive WT limit, I can't carry an infinite amount of pots.
Not everyone puts a 4 in charm, so not everyone has an insane amount of HP to keep them alive. It has to be all or none, or it's just not fair.

For the map suggestion, agree with all except te 2nd. There is enough lag T.T. For the skills suggestions, written by power-user and sense-user; For magic and charm especially, nothing of course <_< .
Theses suggetions got to be review in the mytrickster forum. There are too much bad suggestions and not enough ones.

How isnt it fair to use the abilities given to you..?
Remember, the only way some mages has to defend themselves is rust, dark barrier(limited to dark dragons/witches) and shield of heaven along with light shield(increases DP after all, slightly, but stil)(limited to light dragons/witches). In the case of soul masters, for example, which was the most shafted of the 3rd job classes hands down, we have practically nothing than rust to rely on in ANY way than heal/rust on the "defensive" way(we have shields, but they are limited to spell casters mainly, ATM, or elemental bulls). While other classes(senses can use two LK buffs to increase their LK with 45% + 18%(and if user has anniversary skill, another 10%), meaning they can boost their spell dodge rate ALOT along with toss in a 34% LK debuff. Doesnt matter if the mage heals if he wont be able to ever hit you.). Charms can use Mana Reflector / Magic Meltdown / Sumo Suit(I've seen charms cripple my damage down to 100 per strike, and even so, we stil have to rely to not 1HKO ourselves against mirror if we weren't magic meltdown'ed). Powers... well. Being the one that is supposed to stand least to magic, I can see why they would be in the most "unfair" suit VS our healing.
But my point being, even if Magic classes can cure, its far from unfair in my perspective. Also, remember, that against mages, unlike other classes, you can use resistance gear(excluding Arrow Rush, but in my LK buff and LK debuff scenario and its natural mediocre hit rate, its not as much to worry about at all. Mana Ring is more of a joke compared to Arrow Rush and Mana Storm is just too sluggish and the damage... pfft). Also, remember, cure heals a fixed % HP(30% at master). Most mages dont have much HP(if we take out SoH from play too), so in many case scenarios they dont cure as much as the damage they take as well before they would flop anyway.
Never been a fan of "class arguments". But thats how I see it anyway.

Instanced dungeons, with a boss at the end.This is the least usefull idea ever, i am raiding at WoW for several years now and i can tell u it would not work as u guessed.1: Chars have same HP Formulas and Equipments posible.2: The whole Game hasn't got any real "gear up" as other games require for this, the main purpose of better gear is dmg output and not surviveing, also u don't suffer in dmg way when gearing up for defensive... a Coon simply does use HV as his dmg and defensive...3: Dodgeing is a % chance and therefore luck.. this never worked (anyone who saw a 9x agi sin trying to tank bapho knows it).4: Where is the thread system? Where is the agro system? Where is the enrage timer? How'd this game declare a enrage Timer? How to cc (i know some games don't have cc for instance dungeons but... those suck at it kinda)?This game was never designed to get instance dungeons.5: Why did you tho that Instance Dungeons work atall? It is a certain strenght of chars... the strenght of them at TO relys MASSIVLY on gear... so MySHop would get a giant advantage here. Either u are too weak to be taken along without MyShop or they balance it so that MyShop will be too easy.The end would be that u never get into a instance without MyShop (u are too weak they don't want u as teammate).
This is said by a Warlock (cloth gear) who did tank at a 25 ppl high lvl instance of WoW.15. Compound item that adds a %chance to pierce enemy blocks.... so LK as defense gets useless? WHat else guards Caster against getting OHKO? Or do you want to OHKO all ppl at PvP/GvG? Thats lame :3... this way PvP and GvG finnaly finds a kind of end good idea caught. 19. Increase attack range of inferno blade.Bcuz of? 21. Option to turn-off the ability to pick up any item.Useless. 26. Less exceptional errors and lag.I bet they try this allready XD! My guess is that (same as RO) the COde is old and messed up :3. 29. Make parties be 2.5 if you can just get 5 other people within range at level 150+. 30. For parties that are a Royal or Special at 150+, make them 3.0 instead of 2.5It should be slower as higher u get and not faster.... 37. Events/quests for higher levels or make the exp for the current events, and make the quests TM and Base Exp worthwhile.I would guess they are at it? PvP/GvG specific pots only usable on those maps that heal more than 2k and cost less.Against such for GvG, if you want to get healed at GvG get a Healer, rather like Tuvis said.44. Not goin to talk about the other Parts.All in all i can agree to Tuvis tho, iwill say something more detailed right away.
PvP may still have Potions active as usual but GvG and if you want a Instance System that works atall u will need disabled Potions.A new Elemental Resistance should be compoundable, something against all Elements (of course less % ea comp and on special PvP only Gear maybe... cape?). Why? Bcuz i doubt anyone will comp 1 item for each element and carry it around trying to guess what element the other would have comped >>, u can't see the Rings n can't see what comp is on some weapons...

..ok, seriously, the drill is one of the signature elements of the game, ya?
my thinking is this: if a character clicks drill, and places the drill icon on a boss type monster (or possibly mini-boss, like kaboom) youre presented the option to hop on the boss's back, and plant your drill on it
the boss then runs around flailing while you attempt to drill away its hp meters, and if you pull it off, you get a special drop for killing it that way, a drop you can ONLY get by drilling it to death
naturally it wouldnt be easy, youd have the boss running everywhere, with you on it, so the drill meter would constantly be moving around on the screen, and one mistake bumps you off his back, and then that character wouldnt be able to drill that spawn again (others still could, but the failed driller would have to move on to one he/she hadnt drilled)

EDIT: Tuvis, i agree it isnt fair pure sheep dont have a skill like dark barrier or heaven shield... we get like 1 skill per element for 3rd..
on the pvp healing.. i agree with damsel, its all or nothing ...personally, i think its more fun if nobody heals

That gives me an idea though...dunno how I got this idea from that, but...
Special attacks that cause a sort of cut scene sequence...Kinda like the "final smash" moves in Brawl, or other beat 'em up type games. XD Wouldn't that be kinda funny? XD They'd take a lot of MP to pull off, and probably a low success rate, but it would be worth it, right? XD Only the caster and the target (if the target is a player) would be able to see it, so it wouldn't mess up everyone else's vision. XD

I kinda think that if they implement this, it should be that party members CAN still attack whatever you're trying to "drill attack". Imagine how much easier it would be to kill a boss quickly if you could sort of...distract it...with "drilling" it and the rest of your party knocks out chunks of hp. XD
