About this Guide.Since i don't like to get told a whole Build and aswell Trickster is less about "got to" i decided to create a little different Guide. To get usefull information out of this Guide u will have to use ur own head still, it is able to give u a basic Idea of the Class.I did not add any formulas, if you look for exact formulas i refer to the wikipedia, the link can be found at the end of the Guide. The reason for this is that someone who never played a Magic Class will not know how much MA s/he will get at what lvl anyway.Aswell i will add a lvling Spot section based on the HP and weakness of Mobs so u can easly test where to train, gained XP relys on dealt DMG and ends at the maximum HP of a Mob, this should make sure u can get the best Trainings Spot for UR char at anytime with any type of Equipment u choose.Every recommended Status/Skills of course is mainly for new Players and everyone who is more expierenced and/or able to spend Galder/Money onto improved Equipment should easly be able to freely choose his own way to play the Dragon.The Priest Class.We are probably the best supporter, we are the only Class to get Party Heal and decurse, it even looks like we will get more Party Buffs in the future so if this is part of our choice maybe the way of the holy Light is ur way to go!Additional to all support we can choose we get AoE Attack Spells, this helps us lvling and increases our use for PvP/GvG, of course we can also learn the basic debuffs for Magic Chars.Stats.We choose between Sense and Charme, since we are natural accurate we can freely choose, only if you want Arrow Rush u should atleast get 2+ Sense.Sense will offer Block/Magic Dodge/Crit and Charme will increase the Health/Defense/Dodge, u can choose Sense seems to be better for PvP against other Caster and Charme for every other type of char but... regardless of what u choose the difference will be rather low.The most basic Builds are 1-2 sense and 3-4 Charme.Our Bonus Points are, of course, spend on MA all the time.Equipment prior:We scale extremly with MA/HP, since our Skills are weaker then Dark Dragon Spells we need the MA Backup anyway to compete:As higher we get as more MA changes our defensive Attributes and of course all Attack Spells need Magic Attack,Light Shield will add more MD/DP and Heavens Shield offers a giant amount of HP based on our MA on top of this Rust will decrease more AP, this makes a supperior defense as we proceed throught the Game.HP especialy scales with Heal, it's not as strong as MA but it sure does help especialy while we are still lower lvl and for PvP purposes.Any boost of LK you can get will be a good choice, just like any Dark Dragon, it should help to compound and will increase our chances to stay alive.Hint: try to get a 1st Aniversari Card if you can afford it.HP/DP will be a bit more important untill u gain Rust/Light Shield, if you can OHKO it won't matter too much but keep it in mind.Other Stats are a nice Bonus like HV or MP but it is not realy needed as these 3 are our supperior Stats.But now lets start serious buisness, Skills:Basic Skills to get for every kind of Caster i guess.- Skill lvl Name - small Info about the "why"- lvl 1 Mana Arrow - ea lvl gives some DMG boost and lvl 4 additional range increaseing, above 4 is not recommended early on cuz MP use increases more then DMG.- lvl 1 invincible casting - allows to cast while beeing attacked- lvl 10 Cure - needed for Mist of Mana and heals 24% of targets Maximum HP- lvl 1 Bottle of Mana - increases max MP.... u need lvl 1 for Mist of Mana- max Mist of Mana - maxed gives 45% MA, its a timed buff and the Effekt is almost like 100% more Spell DMG for Spells like Mana Arrow or Light ArrowThis takes 34 Skill Points to get.These Skills are must have as they will allow u to lvl atall.The next things to choose is the Attack Spells, without u will not be able to lvl atall.Most Light Dragons take lvl 10 Light Arrow, it is a pre requiement for a Priest Skill and makes a rather cheap to get and average strong 1 on 1 Skill, lvl 10 needs 11 TM Points.You should choose a second Attack Spell and there are 4 that are of interest:- Magic Skills -- Arrow Rush - great 1 on 1 DMG and rather low MP use and even way earlyer to get, for Accuracy and DMG dealt mastering Mana Arrow (10 pre requirment) and Rush is best to do if you choose it.- Magician -- Light Wave - hits up to 7 Targets and deals good DMG but realy! hard to use, needs lvl 10 Mana Ring (bad scaleing with MA but good for hit n run)- Radiant Wave - hits up to 3 at once and has best MA Formula (when maxed) for all Light Skills fairly easy to use, needs Light Arrow 10 and Mana Storm 10- Priest -- Searing Light - looks incredible giant radius and can hit 5 at once... the mp use is ridiclius and the DMG not as good as you would hope, needs lvl 10 Mana Arrow and Light Arrow1 of these should allready be enought to be able to keep casting so XP will flow.Skill Name - TM used pre requimrment+Main Skill- Magic Skills -Arrow Rush - 11+16- Magician -Light Wave - 11+15Radiant Strike - 11+15- Priest -Searing Light - 9+15The strenght order from highest to lowest is:Arrow Rush(1on1)>Radiant Strike>Light Wave>Searing LightThe Buffs/Debuffs/supports you could choose now:This section is build up like the following,SkillType and SkillName - Skill purpose - TM Points - usefull?- Magic Skills -1on1Debuff Rust - reduce AP - TM used 12 - highpartyBuff Aura of Mana - increased MP rec - 12 - low-medicore (PvE), lvl 10 needed for Heart's GraceselfBuff Mana Shield - increased MD - 13 - medicore-average (PvP), lvl 10 needed for Light Shield- Magician -aoeDebuff Hinder Snare - snares the enemy to the ground - non - medicore, works only in PvP and has about 50% chance to work.selfBuff Light Shield - increased DP/MD/Light resi - 12+mastery? - average-great (depends on Gear), needs lvl 10 Mana Shield and mastered needed for Shield of HeavenselfHeal Catastrophe Heal - fast self Heal - 13 - low, lvl 1 needed for Basic Healing and lvl 10 for Heart's GracestatusCure Basic Healing - heals Debuffs of 1st Job - 7 - low-average (PvP), needs lvl 1 Cata Heal and needed for medical CurepartyHeal Heart's Grace - heals you and everyone near - 15 - low(solo)-high(party), needs lvl 10 Aura of Mana and Cata HealselfBuff Shield of Heaven - gives urself a HP Shield based on MA - 19 - average-high(depends on MA) needs mastered Light Shield- Priest -partyStatusC Medical Cure - cures 1st-3rd Job debuffs for up to 3 ppl - 3 - medicore(PvE)-high(PvP), needs Basic HealingTraining Spots:The perfect Area to train is wherever u can 1 hit, as said previous the XP gained depends on the DMG dealt and the maximum XP to gain of a Mob is limitet by the HP. TM experience is gained for useing Skills and relys on the Monsters lvl, the maximum lvl difference that will make a difference is 35 lvl higher then u are.Note: Untill like lvl 30~40 u should lvl with Quests rather then grinding, this is why i won't refer to any grinding Spot below these lvls.The Info will be listet as following,AreaMap Name - HP/Lvl - weakness? strenght?Party Areas, at this places u should geta Party easyer, the chance to get a party is higher at Ruby if you play on Jewelia.Path to Oops Wharf - x/68 + x/70 - Magic weak + Light resistPath to Black Swamp - 4.695/80 + 3.985/94 - Light resist + Magic resistPath to Snowhill - 6.015/142 + 7.625/150 - Magic resist + Magic weakTechichi 4 - 11.020/261 + 11.300/268 - non + nonTapasco Field 1 - 1.0200/289 + 11.815/334 + 12.000/339 - non + Magic weak + nonnot done yetExample Builds:I will give 2 examples how you could build up ur Priest.The examples will stop at TM 120~130 and point out where you could have changed something and why.Build a) It's goin to be a offensive Build, the design is supposed to be a speed lvler early on, for less perfekt Equipment and rather new Players.Stats Build 1432/4MA, reasons are obvious as this Build provides easly enought MA to OHKO the Monsters that are common on the lvl u are at while not relying on MyShop and the LK growht is well enought for Arrow Rush.Since we want to lvl as fast as posible we choose Arrow Rush, this takes some more TM Points that we need to "keep" on other Spells.As a Bonus we get the Ability to dig pretty well and carry some weight with 3 Sense <3.After that we got 2 Spells to decide between, Radiant Strike and Light Arrow + Searing Light.Pro Radiant, less Eq needed to OHKO and to be used while the 3rd Job Change, aswell less MP used.Pro LArrow + Searing, early on a 2nd Attack Spell with Light Element and Searing is due to a giant range easy to use.No Light Wave, it takes time to get used to the way it works, it would slows us down.I will choose Searing in this Case.Skill Name/lvl - TM lvl/cost - Points used/free- Magic Skills -Mana Arrow 1 - TM lvl 1/1 - 1/0Invinicble Casting - TM lvl 10/5 - 6/4Mana Arrow 4 - TM lvl 10/3 - 9/1 - sidenote MP cost is rather high so u might even want to add this a little later, more then 4 is useless for now as 4 adds more range allreadyCure 10 - TM 10-19/10 - 19/0Bottle of Mana 1 -TM 21/2 - 21/0Mist of Mana mastered - TM 40/16 - 37/3 - passive DMG boost without paying for each cast = superior for us, prepare 2 Koom Cards!Mana Arrow 10 - TM 40-43/6 - 43/0now we can Jobchange to 2nd Class, we will keep adding first Class Skills .- Magician -Arrow Rush 10 - TM 50-56/13 - 56/0Mana Arrow mastered - TM 59/3 - 59/0 - prepare 2 Clione Cards!Arrow Rush mastered - TM 62/3 - 62/0 - prepare 2 Guiana Cards!At this Point u finished ur main Attack Spell and the support Spell for additional DMG, congratulation.Light Pact - TM 55+/0 - 52/3 - does not matetr if you allready added Light, in case u did not u will have to nowLight Arrow 10 - TM 64-73/11 - 73/0at this Point u finished pre requirments for Searing Light and u got 2 great Spells for dealing DMG. But aswell we lack in defensive Abilitys, we could choose now between Light Shield or Rust. Since Light Shield will work against Magic and Physical aswell we only need to cast it once on ourself to take part for every Mob i will choose it.Mana Shield 10 - TM 75-84/11 - 84/0Light Shield mastered - TM 95-99/15 - 99/0 - prepare white blouse's ribbon?These Skills should be enought for Job Change, atleast 15 Point will be kept untill u get Searing.- Priest -Searing Pain mastered - TM 130/15 - 114/16 prepare 5 Cobra Flower Cards!The additional 16 Points could be Rust or spend on Heaven's Shield, be creative.Build b) The second example is a defensive Build, this means u should be able to kill Bosses and do easyer against physical in PvP, the build should have some starting Gear but u can also do it with little more patiente.Stats Build 1414/pure MA, we will take again MA only as it is just easyer to use at start. U should go for some LK soon like the Pharaoh Set +5 on Hat and 3 on Ankh, tho we are still natural accurate so u should just test it on ur own.With 1 in Sense ur PvP Ability versus other Caster will still rely on ur LK compounded Gear!Now we should choose the Attacks we will use. Since we should skip Arrow Rush as we wouldn't hit very well with it. Instead we take Mana Rings for Hit n Run aswell as finisher and Light Arrow to start lvling, later on we add Light Wave since we allready choosed to take some patience at start we can also do our bets to learn how to get the Best out of this Skill.Of course we could have choose Radiant and or Searing additional, feel free to edit this as you wish but keep in mind that u may not want to get Mana Rings in this case, the TM used would be a lot higher else. I'm currently trying to figure out how i should create the example Builds, i guess i will provide 1 offensive way with 3 Attack Spells and 1 that trys to keep the TM used low but focused on staying alive.I guess i should end at TM 120 as everyone should be able to decide on there own at that Point.
BUMP, im a bit lazy at the time but i did at one of the example Builds on the Guild Forum so as soon as i made the second between Captain Skull hunts i will post it ^^'.
Apparently Hinter Snare doesn't works on monster, but it seems to work during PvP or GvG. (Unless my friend did pretend not to move)
Hinder Snare has certain percentages to be successful, I'm not sure how much though.
Btw, this guide still need more improvement especially the grammar part and text format.
I won't enter a "may fail" unless i got more info about the chances. Rust, as example, is allready pretty well to use at lvl 10.
If Grammer and Text Format is all to worry about then it is allready at a way better state then most other Guides. Test Format will anyway change with next update, atleast if it will work like i hope it should.
