I donno what's up with my computer. I'm running on Vista.
I open up the updater, then click the start button. It updates Gameguard, then the updater goes away. After a bit, this little box says "Launcher has stopped working" and it exits the process.
I try and go to the internet when suddenly Firefox stops responding. I try and open Task Manager, but that doesn't work and soon enough windows explorer stops responding. Eventually the only thing I can do is hold the power button to turn it off.
I have no idea why this is doing that. I've played Trickster months ago, so I donno why it's doing this.
My computer came with Windows Vista, and I'm really bummed that I can't play this game. Other games that aren't necessarily compatible with Vista have workarounds posted officially on the website (ex Maple Story...)
I looked into downgrading to Windows XP and Windows doesn't even produce/sell XP anymore. So yes, basically this game is set up to run on an obsolete system.
Please get your game(s) upgraded so they run with the CURRENT Windows system, ntreev!! =D
is urs 34-bit or 64-bit?
Hm.... I have Vista too and I must admit it is very annoying.
And, after it all, there it the sound. But, every time you turn off your computer, you must repeat this procedure.
Aiyee no wonder i'm getting no sound. I'm sitting here like "yes I wanna play this, yes I wanna play this, yes I wanna play this, wohoo it's downloaded!" And then "o.o? Where's my sound?" Darn vista so evil at times...
Ok now i got this new laptop it's Dell Inspiron E1505 with windows vista on it. Everything went smoothly from installation up to game patch, but the problem is after i typed my username and password it says logging in and nothing happens after that.
I waited for about 30minutes then still nothing happens. So I rebooted my laptop, closed my firewall, disabled my antivirus just to be sure, run the program as administrator, also disabled any program that may affect the game, after all i did i still get the same problem, i've waited for about 1 1/2 hours but still the wondow displays the same thing.
*sigh* i was really excited coz i thought i'm about to play trickster again after so many months of absence but i'm quite dissapointed right now.
ok enough with the sound problem already, its been solved! ok, now can someone help me with the game guard eror? it says that "game guard does not exist or corrupt" can someone help me with this problem? im using vista home basic

I have Vista and find that if I am playing iTunes before I start the game then I will still hear my music. But if I try playing music after I started the game then I will hear nothing. I have to run things with sound before starting the game then it is ok.
This is correct.
