    Eeer I'am using Windows Vista.My main problem is the lower part of the screen is blank.any body help me ASAP.

    YAY!!! YOU SAVED MY LIFE!!! NOW THAT I KNOW THE PROBLEM OF MY GAMEGUARD GETTIN AN ERROR "GAMEHACK" DETECTED!! THANK YOU SO MUCH ATROPHY!!! I CANCELED SOME OF MY START UP PROGRAMS SUCH AS THE WINDOWS TOOL BAR OR W/E YOU CALL IT AND THE AUDIO START UP PROGRAM... AND ALSO I TURNED OFF MY FIREWALL.. THEN IT WORKED!!! ;D

    After running the gameguard, PC AUTO RESTART!
    can u help me fix this problem??
    it did not give any error but just restarted...

    hmmm what is the error called ¿Trickster.bin? this was the second time i have problems with that...¿what is?...and ¿what i have to do? o.o??

    12.  If you receive the message, 'You can't access the server. Try again in a moment.'
    a.  If you cannot connect to the game after a recent patch.

    After running the patcher, if your game usually works prior to patches, and doesn't afterwards, there is a very simple solution.  Go into your Trickster folder, and Right-click, Rename on your splash.exe.  If you rename your splash.exe to either Trickster.exe, or Trickster.bin temporarily, it will not cause irreversible damage, and should let you by the launcher without any problem.  As of late, it has become impossible to rename your splash file, as the launcher detects it as an incorrect patch, and changes it back, so this may not work anymore.

    b.  If you still cannot connect to the game after a recent patch.

    The problem is for most people that they are using an old installer which doesn't have the correct coding missed from jumping too many patches.  To avoid this problem, you will have to download the new installer, and reinstall the game, making sure that the patcher connects.  If this still doesn't work, it will most likely be a connection problem.

     

    My connection is quite stable and I am capable of downloading 500-600kb/sec. I have already reinstalled my client as well as trying out the Splash.exe method. The problem wasn't too serious until several patches ago... but the issue became more apparent after the September 4th patch. Besides occasional luck, I have not been able to log on for quite some time now, and I'd like to actually have the Dev Team or Ntreev technicians (if they even have one rofl) to solve this matter. With such issues, I'm just as good as "banned" from TricksterOnline with no end in sight and there really is nothing that'll stop me from the idea of chargbacking my money and simply end my ties with this game.

    While I so very, very much appreciate the efforts of Atrophy and others to help those experiencing problems, I too have tried over-installing, uninstalling, reinstalling, calling my ISP to verifiy my capability of connecting, downloading the manual patch file and installing, and a host of other things that I won't bore everyone with -- I'm on the verge of agreeing with MrClastro, sadly.

    I'd much rather enjoy the game, so if there is something else that has been known to work, please share. I had very few troubles until this morning, 09/25/08. I get to the screen where I put in my User ID and Password, and then "You can't access the server. Try again in a moment."

    I am not running Windows Vista. I'm using Windows XP. 

    Update: 09/26/08

    I uninstalled and reinstalled a total of three times now. I did a PC set back to a week in ago just to see if that helped - it didn't. When I click to start Trickster, it launches and does the check that gives the 'Client is latest version' message. I click start and it goes to the screen with the dragon and loads -- when I click game start, the User ID and password fields appear and I enter those, click log in and immediately get "You can't access the server. Try again in a moment." Help please. Sad

    Update: 09/26/08

    A little ray of hope -- I got through once! I hope it works again. :)

    Well i try again, and 1 hr ago i was playing with out anyproblem, but now the Message "Server and Version are not matching (1010)" is appear again, i have do "update" on patch option, but any change >.<...god i understand can be my pc the problem, but now...¿what happend? i have read the options for fix, but anyone works [:'(] ¿what i do now?

    im having an issue where when i click start on the launcher, nothing happens. my com freezes up, and i get no message error. help pls!!

    Help me pleeze. The infamous "UPDATE PROCESS FAILED! TRY AGAIN LATER" message prevents me from login in, eventhough it has been updated 100%. T_T
