Maybe it's just me, But I was trying to use the guide to see where I can find Don G's model picture his level 15 and above quest he gives you at the Desert Beach place. I have been drilling for hours outside the town but it seems I can't find it =/

Let me ask, do you have the quest active while you drill?  If so, CANCEL IT.  When you have a quest active, the drop rates for what you need get nerfed.  If you cancel the quest, you'll get what you need faster, and then you can go accept the quest and turn the item in immediately.

Wow thanks so Much I'll try that right now but for some reason my Trickster hasn't been working since last night! I had to re-install it cuz everytime I tried to log on, I would get the Error Noise after a while and it would just shut down =[

 

And It just finished re-installing and you've given ton of people really good advice so I'm sure follwing your advice I'll get this blasted quest out the way! :]]

Keep an eye out for higher level players in the Desert Beach area, too.  Since the event calls for sun cream and tanning oil again, there will be high level people down there collecting those.  They're very likely to leave behind things they don't need.  However, if you're going to do that, please remember to show them respect.  They're working hard, and you're just looting their efforts...so keep a distance from them and NEVER stand still in one spot clicking an item over and over until it cools.  You clicking won't make it cool faster, and you're likely to just get in the other player's way.

Lol well Damsel as well I tried your advice drilling without a quest and I had enough to not only complete my Model picture quest but as well to complete several other quesT!! :D

Nice guide. Can I add something, but if it's already said by someone else other than you, then please discard it.

 If you're not a sense-type, try to search for places where other people wouldn't drill too much, for example, in in our very own ruins, drill in a room that has a curved or bent opening, the lesser the people that drill there, the faster it becomes a hotspot.

 Believe it or not, items do SPAWN at the same place. If you've drilled a really RARE item there, wait for around a max of 5 minutes and drill there again within a 20x20 grid. For example, the Bloody Runes of Fate, I just drilled them in one place :D and I got 2 in a row. I had a total of 21 from an hour of digging.

 
There is no such thing as a best or worst spot to drill in a map, but there really are respawn points (the difference between this and a hotspot is only minimal, it's just that when you dig in that area and come back after a few seconds, you'll be amazed that the area you wiped out was completely filled again with items to drill.) This is a place where items really respawn FAST. :D

 
When I get back into playing into Trickster... maybe, I'll be back to power-grinding only. College really is taking quite a lot from me. :D
