    1. It's supposed to be stickied... but it's not?

    2. Also, I do feel like the forums has a very unwelcoming atmostphere, so I feel that Raven said all the right words! Thank you!!!

For some reason the stickies on this forum engine tend to decay after a while. Oddly enough.

I always wondered why something as important as a search button was grey, with grey text, on top of a grey background........

one can almost see why some poeple newer, or less forum savy could miss it.

    out of topic but....

A Universal rule on ALL forums is to ALWAYS check the search button. those who are ignorant could be 'educated' in various ways. Though as the GM said, we are being 'asked' to limit on the variety on our very vast 'education' tools to 'dispell' the ignorance ^_^

I think a lot of people forget what it was like when they were new to videogames, or online games, no one was born playing games, and being a regular forum poster....  We all had to start somewhere.  So at one time all of us didn't know about that so called 'universal' rule.  I still remember way back when I had just touched a Playstation and N64 controllers for the first time..... 'what does the start button do?'

There will be people who have never been on a forum before, or on one that much, and they will have to learn by experience, and people showing them the way, hopefuly in a nice manner. :)

Whether or not I should know to use the search button(i do), is it realy too much to ask for a little color in my life? :) -sniff sniff-

Points? As in Ntreev Cash Points for MyShop? Those are something you buy. 10,000 Ntreev Cash Points cost $10, par example.

On most all forums I've seen, you don't have to click a button to search - there is a box RIGHT THERE and you only click for advanced search options. I didn't realise there even WAS a search for ages ^^; The button really does need to stand out more if we expect everyone to use it!

Hahahah XD That's a relaly nice thing to remind us all, (specially the stuckup-people-who-are-mean-to-nub ppl) *Grovels* D<

Now if the people of the game were just as naive as little children, (which some soooo act), then heheh ^^;, We'll finally see some changes in peoples' attitudes -_-; If not, it's time to call in the bloodhounds!! D< *foams at the mouth*Confused

    Re: Hiya Tricksters!

Though the community as a whole isn't always nice, and I am hoping that this improves, they generally point new people in the right direction.

If someone posts something that seems a little rude but they are asking you to do, or not do, something; nicely remind them that you are new and follow the advice.

Some things are generally frowned upon in most forum communities, such as spam, reviving dead threads (necro-posting), and flaming. Other things are just frustrating, such as answering the same questions repeatedly.

    So I will reiterate,

Please be kind to people especially new people.

If you are new listen to what the older people have to say it is probably helpful to you and the community.

    Thanks,

    Raven

Raven, does this rule also apply to you? XD

Naah, just joking, but it is a somewhat refreshing and player-inviting if the community is good.
