Though the community as a whole isn't always nice, and I am hoping that this improves, they generally point new people in the right direction.
If someone posts something that seems a little rude but they are asking you to do, or not do, something; nicely remind them that you are new and follow the advice.
Some things are generally frowned upon in most forum communities, such as spam, reviving dead threads (necro-posting), and flaming. Other things are just frustrating, such as answering the same questions repeatedly.
So I will reiterate,
Please be kind to people especially new people.
If you are new listen to what the older people have to say it is probably helpful to you and the community.
Thanks,
Raven
