OK everyone I have come to the realization that WE are the only ones that can MAKE NTREEV stop the hackers.... the only thing that will force them to do something is if EVERYONE STOPS SPENDING MONEY HERE!!!! This ia a business and WE the paying public are the customers. I for one am not going to spend 1 more penny on ntreev in till I see or hear of things being do to gain control of this game. I mean cmon I know that there are still going to be cheaters BUT at least make it hard to do. When GOA releases season 4 I will go there and spend my money there, because at least they have made attemps to keep control of their servers............. It wont happen unless we stand united and let Ntreev know that WE the customers want something done about this issue.............I work in the customer service business and I would never not listen to what my customers are telling me, NEVER! If I did nothing to please them they will just go else where to spend their money. CMON PEOPLE LETS CHANGE THINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The thing is is that Ntreev has to run everything by KR so they can't just do something about it unless KR gives the ok.
Also... the thing about not spending money is that if this game stops making them money the server will shut down. But so long it keeps bringing them in money then things are fine. I for one don't want all my money spent to have been in vain for only the server to shut down.

"Stop spending money on the server, that way Ntreev will have to listen to us"
...Or they could just close the game if it's causing them to lose money. I wonder if the players thought the same way on Matrix Online? Hellgate London? Tabula Rasa? Fury? Need I go on?
If you don't wanna spend money, don't, but encouraging others to not spend money is like saying "I want to see this game closed and everyone in it to suffer."

Yup yup just as I had said. Heh I guess we responded at the same time there. This game better keep making money so things keep running.
YOU KNOW WHAT??? Close the game I dont wana play the way it is now and I know and you all want things to change??? THEN DO SOMETHING THAT WILL MAKE THEM LISTEN!!!!!
Agreed.
Yes, there are issues. but i do love the game, and i do think Ntreev dose the best they can do. So when ever posable, i will spend money on the game to help support it. Also, sending in 1:1s help tons rather you feel it dose or not in the war aginst hacking. Point is, every MMO has issues, play the game to enjoy it. If you wish to put money into it, great. if you don't...then okay. But don't try to tell others not to ~huggies~

I'm terribly sorry you feel that way. I don't, I know many other users don't..So I'll keep spending money here and ther to fund Ntreev and to try to see the problem fixed..And hopefully have some fun playing the game along the way..because really thats all I'm concerned about at the end of the day ^^
Oh and fail I can encourage what ever I like. Fail you need to open your eyes to because if things dont change this server is going to shut down anyway.
Stopping the hackers would be very nice indeed. However, the stunt your proposing is no more than a boycott that would either result in total failure because of the lack of strength this boycott would induce, and or as mentioned earlier, the closing of the US sever of Pangya. The hacker problem seems to be mentioned all over the forums, and the GM's and people in charge seem more than aware of the problem. It would be best for us as a playerbase to continue to support them through 1:1 reporting, and stop *****ing at them. It won't make anything better, in fact, it will probably make things worse, and the GM's less willing.
On a side note, if your that bothered by hackers, why not just play VS games? I've only come across one person I've had to report in a VS match.

The game is not in any danger of shutting down.
thank you ~huggies~
All of this has been said before time and time again. All we can do is believe in Ntreev and wait for things to change however long that may take. Could b1 year, could be 2 but point is things will get done at some point.
All MMOs have their problems yes and those who have played other free MMOs how many can say that GMs of those other MMOs are involved with the players? I have played other free MMOs and GMs there don't even take part with the players, don't hold many events and all that other sort. Ntreev GMs show themselves and play with players and even hold GM events weekly now that is something. Rare to find that GMs hold weekly events for their games and not only that but the GMs are there themselves in person.
People will always complain no matter how few problems there are in a MMO. If you don't like how things are done and don't want to spend money, fine. Stop playing this game all together or just don't try to announce to others that you are gonna stop supporting the game servers.
You are all correct and I pray that Ntreev fixes the Hacking issues. But I started this because I felt that mostly all I see here is hacking related issues and people complaining to Ntreev to do something. Well I wrote this topic to say HEY LETS MAKE THEM LISTEN TO US! Thats all.
I for one do not believe they will shot down this game if people stop spending money. The only reason this post hasn't been deleted yet is because:
1- The GMs haven't read it yet
or
2-They are aware that this boycott is likely to be unsuccessful
In case it was successful then I for one believe they still wouldn't listen to us, but they wouldn't shut down the servers either. They would just throw irresistible game content out there that would cause us to spend more money on the game (Edo clothes, Gacha rares, e-card rares). As BaineWilder once wisely stated "The company tries to keep a balance between ripping you off while releasing game content that will keep you happy". Everyone here's who's ever bought points is probably an impulsive buyer, the kind that cannot stop, and so that explains why most people stay even after the appalling customer service we receive (a couple of GMs making libelous comments based on their opinion in public, and not apologizing after the issue was cleared up). To be able to hit them, and hit them hard you would first have to make at least half of the gaming community to come to a consensus and with this post you're only reaching less than 10% of the player base.
From that 10% of gamers that participate in the forums, most of them are inactive or post once in a while, among those there are some that agree with you to some degree, those who disagree, and those that will just plain skin you alive and burn you at the stake for daring make such audacious comments towards a company that allows you to play their game for free. Adding all this up, again, this effort is likely to be as fruitless as the ones that preceded it, and the ones that will succeed it. If issues like the Scratchy card debate, the Papel Shop debate, the Region ban debate, etc despite having a lot of support and after having been debated so many times have all but been ignored, then you already know where this post is heading....
Most of the people that use to make intelligent posts, suggestions, and make use of their God given rights as customers to complain about a defective product, are now gone; I don't think anybody now has a chance to force the company to enact a policy they're likely going to be against. And so for those of us who like this game and don't want our investment to go down the drain, we will extend our abusive relationship with the company, and for those who're fed up they will leave and be forgotten in a week, much like the way most well known players did. Not nice, not pretty, but the simple truth.
btw: they did say they would try to have shops back before christmas, but looks like the subject isn't even being actively debated by the development team.
A boycott won't work; it can't work. There's the fact that Ntreev will probably delete threads which try to start it (as they should) and also people might say they hate the situation but they will spend $5 here and there to get low-priced items. Not only that, but I know plenty of people who play the game and avoid the forums because they are a nightmare to read (myself included). As cynical as it is, nothing can be done until the developers actually fix it. The GM's can't do anything; they aren't supposed to be the ones coding the game. I'd suggest trying to make the best of it by playing with people who you know so you never have to deal with them. And no I'm not an optimist, I agree that there is an issue. But draining them of their income won't motivate them to work harder just like blowing all your money on points won't either. It is what it is.
gee bonehead... you don't happen to be the "" spamming "NTREEVE IS CLOSING" in the lobby are you? or an associate of his?
