Basically this is changing the Dynamic of the card system...Instead of sitting there and scratching endlessly for rares it's turned into more of a "When you buy premium items, you get a chance for a rare item too."

I didn't experience old system, but I saw that people were sinking hundreds of dollars into the "Mr Ecard" system and getting jack squat..At least this way it's a bonus, so you don't feel like you're being 100% ripped off when you don't get anything.

Kryptas - As for purchasing items you "Don't really want"..*Shrug*..I mean Time Boosters, Autocalipers, Pang Masteries, Comets..Tons of disposable stuff you can purchase. I mean don't get me wrong I'm not saying like "Hey, this system is superior to Mr. Ecard" but it's essentially identical to the system that Pangya KR has from what I understand, so it's gotta work to some degree right? >.>

Actually on Pangya Korea you get Cards for Buying Cookies not Spending them so its not a gift for buying things but for recharging which is actually better I think.

The drop rate needs to go much higher! I have spent around $158 on Stuff in the shop just to get eCards and I have won nothing I only wanted the Elfen Ears and if I finally got a rare there is a 2/3 chance it wont be the one I want. I dont have enough money just to spend trying to win some eCard rare that I probably wont win. There should be a limit of how many cards you can before the rare is just given to you because $158 (and in the future much more) is way too much for a virtual item.

I ran a tournament with a few friends last night as well as gave away some gifts. I ended up sinking about $100 into the game which equalled a 101 tickets. Scratching said tickets gave me nothing as predicted since the rates have not been changed. Four times the amount to pay, four times less the amount of tickets, and still the rather insane chance. A little disappointed, but to be expected.

Just wondering if this is an actual concern that will be pushed and addressed, or if it will be placed under other items that need the GMs attention. I certainly don't want it forgotten.

Perhaps the silence is an answer in and of itself

The "1 consumable" thing was possibly a mistake, but it might've been an intentional change "to make up for the extra Scratchy Cards generated by Treasure Mode". We haven't been told either way though, so the advice is to not use Scratchy Cards until we do know.

I've yet to hear anything on how presenting the well-thought out petition Selinya wrote went. While I'm sure it hasn't been forgotten, maybe lost or put aside due the chaos of S4, but I did notice scratchy cards changed. I got 8 or so today and it seems instead of giving 2-3 consmables they now only give 1. Kind of a disapointing nerf.

I met my first hcker 2 weeks ago. A friend and I were in tourney, and we were in Ice Spa. We were only on third hole, and somehow the player in first had -16 as a score. *i dont pay attention to Pang, really*. Its Ice freakin Spa. The only oppurtunities for eagle are on first, possibly the thing with the big loop that usually gets you too far, the short cut surrounded by water hazards, etc. Even so, theres no way to -16 in 3 holes, espicially in Ice Spa.

Hacking is ridiculous. Its a freakin golf game, for goodness's sake. For those saying just Korea is tight, look at WoW. Hackers are instant-banned, and the place is perfect. We are capable of such, just Ntreev's too lazy or poor *maybe because of ripoffs like eCard?*

Foreign Language speaking is just plain annoying. I wonder how some Brazillians or whatever would feel if I came to their country, spoke a language they did not remotely understand, and even go as far as going to one of THEIR businesses and say i wont buy their product if it isnt my home country only. Sure, you can be nice about it, but Ive been getting quite a bit of back sass. Outside of PangYa! Ive delt with people speaking a different language and soliciting. Its annoying; and disrespectful. I don't speak anything but English, but I'm working on French. Im sorry to Brazil; but I cant tell Brazilian from Dutch or German, so its all going down nder one category: what the majority is. This "crap" isnt coming from nowhere, most of the language spoken thats wrong is Brazilian. Maybe not EVERY BRAZILIAN is speaking the wrong language, but that LANGUAGE is the main one I've seen, and that's what my statisics are for. I didnt even no vem br meant only brazil until now, and I apologize for going to those rooms, but again, there would be no need if brazilians would speak ENGLISH. If they don't know English, they can play somewhere else. Harsh, I know, but I'm in that kind of mood. If they're going to be obnoxious about it, I can too. People who insult others in a diff lang are too scared to say it straight up in the other person's language, and thats been the case a lot for me. There really are the following options, as mentioned everywhere: Individual IP Ban- ban certain IP. Fail: u can go to a public place or a friends house and play, and some ppl are fail enough to do so. Region Ban -block a certain region. Fail: I honestly dont care about the few good brazilians, I dont know any,nor any that spoke english, but for the sake of them and their defenders, i will say: this fails because the few people who dont talk some other lang are blocked from the game, ntreev loses money *point forgotten: they can cash too*. New Server-self explanatory-Fail: it is not Pangya International. Its funny how when people think English, they think International. Clearly, not everyone speaks English. We should not make a new server for people who are breaking the rules, which they are. They wouldn't even go to those servers anyway, just to piss us off. Filter- blocks inappropiate words-Fail: Depens on what u filter. In general, there would b a lot of ***'s, and just like we bypass swearing filters, they can too. Another idea unmentioned: Predetermined Chat: I know, it sucks a lot. And the risk of spam is high. But, for those who are underage, or from a foreign IP, they should have to use predetermined speech, since they cant speak proper english.

Scratchy Cards: I have 352 cash, due to some wasteful ideas on GC. I can do surveys, kinda. Despite this, Scratchy SEEMED appealing. But as many said, it is a scam. Buy 1 get one free, but worse. The only free part in the deal is free crap from trying to get cards...oh wait, you PAY for that too! Scratchy is a waste, its not even like REAL gambling because there is NO fair chance what so ever. Dont pull the "Thats what makes it rare" crap. Its RARE, not IMPOSSIBLY HARD-MAJORLY UNLIKELY-GIVE UP NOW-NO CHANCE OF GETTING-IT, etc. If you spend enough money to get maybe 70 tries, you have to think, is this even WORTH 70 bucks?! Experience playing GC has taught me anything that you get by cash will be unfair, and have an advantage. So for those whining about elf ears being unfair advantage, what did you expect? That being said, though, at least be REASONABLE. I'm willing to CHARGE tons of cash for cards, but not buy CRAP to get few cards. The worst part of it all, lets say your rolling in the money, or working for yourself, or your parents love you too much, despite having the money, u STILL can get NOTHING. All that money is waste! Does Ntreev care? True to our American ways, hell no. More money! I almost don't blame them, but then I do. There are plenty of cashers from what I see on forums, and they pay Ntreev quite enough. I dont see why they have to squeeze us for the little more we were saving.

GMs: i loved the GMs, I do, but there in the wrong on this one. Takeda was so horribly attacked, although rightfully, Loki had to take over. And even then, Loki was pawned with his own words. This screams two words: YOU'RE WRONG. WRONG WRONG WRONG. Making us spend money on crap, to win cards where you can POSSIBLY win semi-good crap, is a fail way of getting our dough. Allowing hackers to rampage and people screamed jajajajaja or husahhusahhusah w/e is bad in general, but so is allowing us regular players to suffer like this! And I agree with people saying GMs dont listen. I never 1:1, because its just whining really, and GMs cant do everything. On GC, on the weekends, the spam is outrageous. Does it matter if you report? No, because A: Its a testing account, or worthless one, B: Theyll make another account and return, C: if the GMs even SEE the 1:1, they 1 billion other reports that are exactly the same. They dont even have up to 20 GMs, and Bawkzie is the only one who deals with that stuff anyway, that I know of. You guys are required to say crap like give us feedback, but you arent required to care, apparently. I prefer socializing then actually talking about problems because in one situation, my questions are actually answered with REAL answers :D

Papel Shop: Lmao. I liked at first, then I realized I was wasting 500 pang on 3 bottles of potions, when I can buy the important ones, like the one that shows where ball is going, for 150 in shop. FAIL. Its a total ripoff, and the rare items are BAREly recieved. I currently refuse to shop, because I need pang for Cecilia :]

Lucia: I hear you get a naked Lucia for the coupon, unlike the other characters. If true, I'm not surprised, as if full Lucia was free. Most of her clothes will be cash anyway.

EDIT: I am now awake, and thinking clearly (Thank you, cookies). I'd like to add the previous with something about S4. According to a blog, these are some of the features (if you already knew too bad):

Animations: Dance steps, Special character animations, etc.
Layout: New game interface and improved backgrounds
Interface: Modified messenger system
Challenge: Modified course difficulties
Character: A fabulous pop idol singer, Lucia (Details below)
Course: Lost Seaway
Item: Microphone/Mike clubs, etc.
Feature: Self-design clothing system (You can literally design your own clothes–writing your name on it, coloring it, etc.)
Feature: New Card System (Aside from our known drugs and potions)
Feature: Treasure Hunt
Mode: Approach Mode
Mode: Improved Tee System

Ntreev needs to consider their core audience and try not to divide them as these Scratchy Cards have.

The money was burning a hole in my pocket and, sadly, I kinda just gave up on it and started playing iRO. They were nice enough to take my money let me buy "lucky boxes"(Their scratchy card equivalent.) I had to have my gambling fix. Lol, That's $120 in income Ntreev lost from me...maybe even a player as well since I'm now grounded in another mmo.

I find this a little closed-minded. You do realize the point of a blog itself is for people to give their general opinions as they are with forums, correct? So my fit of rage at first hearing about this new scratch card system is acceptable in the aspect that it is my blog, my opinion, and my choice. Though if you've paid attention to my blog or to this thread then you must have read my more thought out and proper response here: http://forum.ntreev.net/pangya/forums/p/3656/48824.aspx#48824 It's pretty much human nature to get pissed off at something you care strongly for not going your way, the real maturity shows through if you're able to look past that and try to change it for the better. I believe we're all in small ways attempting to do just that, and thus this thread remains active to show support for the subject matter.

I don't mean to be offensive towards you per se, but I think that on my own personal site I should be allowed to do whatever I would like. My site may have slammed Ntreev at the time, and I still disagree strongly, but I'm not a hate site and if you feel I have not proved any grounds to my rage then please prove me wrong. I believe all my responses in this thread have stated exactly why I am, and many other players, are upset.

Also, as a response in general I'm a bit disappointed by the fact they're "free" is still being used. Yes, it is a bonus though I feel if you want the rare it does not become free, it becomes costly and very quickly considering old rates. I think it needs to be realized that people will look at this "free" thing differently. New-comers will see it as free unless they desire the rare and thus see it as a chore to obtain the rare. You can throw free around as much as necessary, but really it depends on the person so the term needs to be used on a case by case basis. I think that the word itself is dangerous in this discussion, and should be used with care.

The problem stems from those who do not see it as free, and as such need an alternative to get the cards directly without any other trouble. This should be clear by this point. I know Ntreev is trying, I also know they're not stupid, and I think that they will see that catering to both is a win-win situation here. It's GOOD for business. Ntreev needs to make money and not chase people away, that's the main debate of this thread. I'll be honest, they should be worried with the release of Pangya PSP. Once again meaning no offense, but for about a week and a half I've played nothing but that and got items I only dreamed of for the cost of $30.00 --- and I can play with my friends as well as tournament. It might seem idiotic to think that is competition, but it is!

To be fully Honest with you Ntreev players, I think we've got this all wrong.

I mean sure we seem like we're paying more for scrachy cards, But they just came out.

Although, The system isn't even out yet. They havn't decided weather the only way you are going to be able to actually get the cards, were to purches the items you wanted/needed. In regards to that, Weather you need something or just spending your ntreev points on worthless things is your own choice.

But i agree with the people who are pulling on Ntreev's Lower pants asking for them to be able'd to be bought sepretly.

I'm also dissapointed in this patch, I mean who really wants to spend 1$ for a "Free" Card and not be able to get Kooh's ears ect. This wasn't a great choice. Now my chances of getting Ears, and Dress and SSAF Arn't worth buying points for. I'll keep my money in my pocket untell they can be bought in the shop.

Now don't jump to conclusions here. Ntreev WILLINGLY took Pangya off OGP. Otherwise, there would be no Pangya. Anyways, S4 hasn't been released yet. If you don't like Ntreev, just quit. No one is forcing you to stay.

drimo, what placed is trying to say is:

if you're scratching all by yourself, it will take exactly 100 scratches to get a rare, yes? you both agree on this.

however, if there are 2 people scratching, and you go in turn, it will take 200 turns by both people combined to get 1 rare each.

if there are 3 people scratching, then it will take 300 total turns for all 3 rares to be won. if there are 100 people scratching, it will take 100*100 turns to get all 100 rares. this averages out to 1 rare per person, with exactly 100 turns per person.

get it?
