I got 2x8 coins in first 4 tournaments, had 64 in my inventory. The next tournament gave me just 2x6. So for me its after 60 when it was less coins!

Another point of interest. So you got 6 on hole 9 and 4 on hole 18?
I don't think you can check how many you get per 9 holes.
It either shows the message 4 or 5 times but that's not how many you really get.
When I first saw the message 5 times, I thought I got 5 and another 5 at the end. I checked and I had 18.
I exchanged 100 of my bronze coins for a gold and did another tournament. Got 16 this time. Not sure if having gold decreases the penalty. Maybe it's random.

That seems pretty definitive to me. Looks like it might only count the bronzes after all. If so, getting the set may be even easier than predicted.
@LunarEmerald: You have to open the chat log to show up the number of the coins you got. You should've known that the chat limit above the powerbar is only 5 lines... <_<a

I've not read every post here yet. I read all about the coins when logging in to Pangya. Anyway, i've played four tournaments today and i've reached 64 coins (Using Arin's motion item)
Just about to try a fifth tournament to see how many i get on hole 9 & 18 this time.

there we go o.o finally got them :T kept on playing with breaks, took over 9 hrs i'd say for me :T one time only got 4 coins in a tour .-. while using motion item, forgot how many tours, but yea roughly 95700 upgraded with still 3 more power slots left o.o nothing too special :T just gold :x off to bed~ :p night

I'm starting to get a lot of 6, 8 and 10's now.
Currently at 178. Slowly climbing to 200.
I did my fifth tourney, hole nine i got 8 coins, hole eighteen i got 6 coins. Total 78.
I changed them up for silver coins. I did a sixth tourney, i had 6 coins on hole nine, and 4 coins on hole eighteen.
Getting less and less now, and that's with a motion item.

Lets remenber this guys, November 18 to December 18. We have a looooot time to get the clubs so dont push yourself too hard! rest a little, get the clubs in 5 or 6 days is not going to kill you, not necessarily have to get it today, Remenber to rest, watch Tv, Study and eat xD. Is a game afther all. The good part of this event is the fact of get coins no matter what, so, If you make 18 holes you'll have your reward.
Nah he already got it.. Now its time for him to sleep mybe 2 or 3 day sleep

November 18 to December 2. This event lasts two weeks, not four. If you're looking at the dates at the top of the event page, be advised that those dates are almost never accurate. After all, it says that Kaz's AA is November 18 to December 18 too, and we all know those are permanent!
